Once again, I am not trying to scare anyone witless or be a doom and gloomer.  However, the truth is—if you are paying the least bit of attention—we are living in very scary and threatening times.  In fact, we are living in the most threatening and challenging time of America’s history.

Since Joe Biden was elected president our nation’s enemies have repeatedly stepped up to the plate with bellicose and provocative warnings of war with the United States—either directly or by proxy as in the Ukraine-Russia war.  As I mentioned in a previous post, our nation faces the potential of not one threat leading to a World War, but five at the minimum.

In addition to our current proxy war with Russia via our Ukraine involvement, the United States could see a proxy war with China through our support of Taiwan; supporting South Korea against North Korea; Israel against Iran and NATO against Russia.  At its worst, China, Iran, North Korea and Russia are all making direct threats of war (nuclear) against the United States.  Why, all of a sudden are all of the world’s despotic leaders threatening the United States?

Despite years of détente, these hostile world actors know that the U.S. has a weak and feckless leader in the White House and a greatly diminished American military that is stretched far and wide across the globe.  In their minds, if ever there were a time to strike America, now is it.  For them, any attack on the U.S. would not be a limited tactical strike to prove a military point, but would be an all-out effort of total conquest.

Whether by proxy or in direct conflict, America could be at a decided disadvantage, and perhaps dangerously so.  There are multiple scenarios which could have America’s forces stretched far beyond capability.  Our military is nowhere near the strength and capability that it was pre-Obama years.  In Revelation 18 and the Fate of America (both 2013 and 2021 editions), I wrote extensively how President Obama decimated America’s military and purged from its ranks hundreds of its finest leaders.

Military Readiness.  The U.S. National Defense budget for FY2023 is $816.7 billion, or almost ten times that of Russia’s defense budget for 2023 of $84 billion and about 3.5 times more than China’s FY2022 budget of $230 billion.  Despite America’s huge military budget, the nation is still inadequately prepared for an all-out war abroad and certainly not one that might require forces on multiple continents or battle fronts.

Unlike other nations, America’s military personnel are scattered far and wide across the globe. Entering 2023, the United States has military forces in an unbelievable 750 foreign bases in 80 countries.  Why is it necessary for the United States’ forces to be spread so thin?

Although Global Fire Power still ranks the United States #1 in firepower, Russia and China are right behind (and almost equal) to the U.S. as #2 and #3.

In October 2022, The Heritage Foundation released their assessment of the United States military readiness for conflict in their  Executive Summary of the 2023 Index of U.S. Military Strength.

Their summary paragraph was concise and to the point.

“As currently postured, the U.S. military is at growing risk of not being able to meet the demands of defending America’s vital national interests. It is rated as weak relative to the force needed to defend national interests on a global stage against actual challenges in the world as it is rather than as we wish it were. This is the logical consequence of years of sustained use, underfunding, poorly defined priorities, wildly shifting security policies, exceedingly poor discipline in program execution, and a profound lack of seriousness across the national security establishment even as threats to U.S. interests have surged.”

With the potential of multiple wars at the same time, Heritage Foundation’s analysis is that to be effective the U.S. military would need an Army of 50 brigade combat ready units; the Navy with 400 battle force ships and 624 strike aircraft; the Air Force with 1200 fighter/ground attack aircraft; and a Marine force of 30 battalions.

Currently, the U.S. Army has 31 combat brigades of about 480,000 soldiers and the National Guard combat forces of 27 brigades or 336,000 soldiers.  Of the 400 recommended ships, the Navy has 305, but has 1057 strike aircraft.  The Air Force is just shy of the 1200 recommended aircraft at 1168.  Of the 30 Marine battalions needed, they have 24 active and 8 in reserve.

America vs. Russia.  According to the Heritage assessment, Russia remains the primary threat to American interests in Europe as well as the most pressing threat to the United States. . . .

The 2023 Index again assesses the threat emanating from Russia as “aggressive” in its behavior and “formidable” (the highest category on the scale) in its growing capabilities. Though Russia is consuming its inventory of munitions, supplies, equipment, and even military personnel in its war against Ukraine, it is also replacing those items and people. Unlike Ukraine’s, Russia’s industrial capacity remains untouched by the war, and will allow Moscow to replace older equipment lost in the conflict with newly manufactured items. Russia’s military is also gaining valuable combat experience. Consequently, the war may actually serve to increase the challenge that Russia poses to U.S. interests on the continent.

The unknown here: Will Russia draw NATO nations into a much broader and deadly conflict on the European Continent?  Who will be Russia’s allies?

America vs. China.  China is the most comprehensive threat the U.S. faces, remained “aggressive” in the scope of its provocative behavior and earns the score of “formidable” for its capability because of its continued investment in the modernization and expansion of its military and the particular attention it has paid to its space, cyber, and artificial intelligence capabilities. The People’s Liberation Army continues to extend its reach and military activity beyond its immediate region and engages in larger and more comprehensive exercises, including live-fire exercises in the East China Sea near Taiwan and aggressive naval and air patrols in the South China Sea.

China also continues to conduct probes of the South Korean and Japanese air defense identification zones, drawing rebukes from both Seoul and Tokyo, and its statements about Taiwan and exercise of military capabilities in the air and sea around the island have been increasingly belligerent. China is taking note of the war in Ukraine and U.S. military developments and has been adjusting its own posture, training, and investments accordingly.

The great unknown with Russia and China would be if each would come to the other’s aid in a declared war against the United States or a U.S. ally?

Despots Waiting in the Shadows.  There are also a number of tyrannical/terrorist nations and actors waiting in the wings that pose a direct threat to the United States at home and abroad.  Iran, North Korea, and a host of Islamic terrorists around the world and within the USA.

The greatest threat among them is Iran.  Nuclear experts now believe that Iran could be weeks or even days away from having enough nuclear material to create at least one nuclear bomb. 

On March 1, Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, Colin Kahl, of the U.S. Department of Defense, warned that Iran could have enough nuclear material for a bomb in 12 days. Iran’s leaders have made it clear repeatedly, that its first target of its newfound nuclear might would be Israel (and the United States).  This puts Israel in a difficult position: Do they attempt a “first strike” before it is too late, or wait until it may be too late?

As for the U.S. homeland, Iran’s ayatollahs have issued continuous calls to kill or kidnap U.S. officials and citizens.  There are known Islamic terrorists in the U.S. who may be in a position to act upon such threats.  Our open borders have also made it possible for Islamic terrorists to freely enter our nation.

North Korea, although maybe a lesser U.S. threat, is still led by a homicidal madman, Kim Jong Un who constantly, since Biden took office, has threatened South Korea and the United States with nuclear attack.  Like any demonic, his threats should be taken seriously. 

Just two days ago, Kim called for his military to prepare for a nuclear attack on South Korea and the U.S.  He bragged that 1.4 million North Koreans have “volunteered” to join his military forces and that 800,000 joined his army in a single day.

Unlike Iran, North Korea has considerable current nuclear capability and appears to ready to use it. 

On March 17, a report from defense scientists in China claimed that an ICBM fired from North Korea could reach the central U.S. in 33 minutes.  Frederick K. Lamb, a Professor of Physics at the University of Illinois, told CNN, “If North Korea were to fire a nuclear-armed ICBM at the United States, we cannot be sure that our missile defence [sic] system would prevent it.”

The Peril of False Leadership

Some Americans, including myself, are wondering who is it that is actually running this country we love to call America, the home of the free and the land of the brave.  Maybe you are one of them too.

Is President Joe Biden really in charge?  Is it former President Obama?  Is it some elite cabal?  Are there foreign entities involved?  Is Congress in charge of doing the people’s business or is it the Department of Justice, the Pentagon, Environmental Protection Agency, or the New Green Deal zealots?  Who is really running our nation and does it make a difference?

Or, is Mr. Biden and his associates (whoever they are) steering the ship of state by executive fiat through his 107 Executive Orders, 126 Presidential Memorandums, 381 Proclamations and 76 Notices (as of February 22, 2023. Source: https://ballotpedia.org)?

Tyrannical Power and the Socialistic Invasion (Excerpted from Revelation 18 and the Fate of America, 2021 Edition, pp. 314-316). Socialistic and Marxist ideals have been making inroads in America and American politics for many decades. However, never has it been so blatant and open as in the first two decades of the new century.

All presidents must show that they can exercise authority and provide leadership. However, when such leadership becomes  dictatorial and unwavering, it has become tyrannical and oppressive. Such was the leadership of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. They did not lead, they dictated. They did not negotiate with those who opposed  them, they denigrated and demeaned their opponents. Tyranny comes about when a leader deviates from the norms of good government, the rule of law and the constitutional guidelines of a nation. In that respect, President Obama and his former vice president, Joe Biden, not  only deviated from all three but repeatedly and willfully violated each.

At a Democratic fund raiser in Miami on November 8, 2013, Obama challenged his Republican opponents to join him to push through immigration reform and other second term agenda he favored.   However, he was not offering an olive branch of cooperation, but rather used his bully pulpit. “What we’ve seen over the last several years is a constant ratcheting up of partisanship that prevents us from  moving forward on things that I think most people would say aren’t Democrat or Republican ideas,” Obama proclaimed. “They’re just good, common-sense American ideas.” Whether they were good ideas or not, Obama was not interested in the other side’s opinions. He quickly threatened that if the Republicans did not join him to pass what  he wanted, then he would use executive orders to get the job done. “We have a whole drawer full of good ideas. And some of them I can do on my own, administratively,” he added.

Fast forward to the election of Joe Biden. In his first week in office, President Biden signed 33 Executive Orders (46, counting Memorandums, Directives, etc.), more than three times his four predecessors’ combined total of 30 EOs. Biden was not done. Apparently, he and the Democratic cabal plan to rule by edict and tyranny. President Trump signed four EOs in his first week in office.

America’s presidents have used Executive Orders (EOs) since  George Washington took office. However, he only issued 8 during his entire eight year presidency. The first six presidents signed a total of 18 EOs over a period of 40 years. The presidential executive order was never meant to be a primary means of governing, only to be used sparingly. In the 20^th and 21^st century, the presidential use of  EOs has  gotten out of hand and has become a major governing tool for the president to circumvent Congress and the will of the people.

In the first 100 years of the U.S. presidency (1789-1889), 22 different presidents issued a total of 794 EOs. This was skewed, however, by five presidents (Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, Chester Arthur and the first term of Grover  Cleveland) who wrote 597 or 75 percent of the EOs during that period.             By comparison, in the last 100 years (1921-2021), 18 presidents have issued 10,914 EOs, or almost 14 times as many as the first 100 years.

Clearly, modern era presidents have found a more efficient, but more dictatorial way to rule and circumvent Congress and the populous they represent.

In the case of Joe Biden, his EOs have mostly been used to rescind or change the EOs of his predecessor, Donald Trump. For Biden, it did not matter if the Trump EOs were good or beneficial.     They just did not reflect the new socialist/globalist agenda of the Biden administration.

The Executive Order

The U.S. Constitution does not directly define or give the president authority to issue presidential actions, which include executive orders, presidential memoranda and proclamations.

Instead, this implied and accepted  power derives from Article II of the Constitution, which states that as head of the executive branch and commander in chief of the armed forces, the president “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”

With an executive  order,  the president instructs the government how to work within the parameters already set by Congress and the Constitution. In effect, this allows  the president  to push through policy changes without going through Congress.

By issuing an executive  order,  the president does not create a new law or appropriate any funds from the U.S. Treasury;  only Congress  has the power to do both of these things.

The Peril of False Leadership (Excerpted from Revelation 18 and the Fate of America, 2021 Edition, pp. 55-56). When a nation ignores its past and does not pay attention to its present, it tends to lose its future. Nations are only as great as the leaders that lead them. The Jews faltered and  fell into sin and rejected their God many times during the age of the kings. God sent them prophets to warn them to turn from their idols and wicked ways. Except for a handful of extraordinary godly men, the leaders of the Jews were wicked, godless men who led the Jews down an errant path to their destruction. When the voices of the prophets cried out against the tyranny and sinister nature of their leaders, the Jewish leaders told the people to ignore the prophets because they prophesied falsely. Instead, the kings and religious leaders of their day told the people lie after lie and led them down a wicked path.

“Jeremiah, say to the people, ‘This is what the Lord says: ‘When people fall down, don’t they get up again? When they discover  they’re on the wrong road, don’t they turn back? Then why do these people stay on their self-destructive path? Why do the people of Jerusalem refuse to turn back? They cling tightly to their lies and will not turn around. I listen to their conversations and don’t hear a word of truth. Is anyone sorry for doing wrong? Does anyone say, What a terrible thing I have done? No! All are running down the path of sin as swiftly as a horse galloping into battle!’” (Jeremiah 8:4- 6, NLT; author’s emphasis).

As the Jews of old, America has been on a self-destructive path for some time. Like a roller coaster heading down a precipitous track, it is bearing down on disastrous consequences due to the lies and deceptions of decades of corrupt and larcenous leaders. Why do people refuse to turn back from their own destructive path? They are either deceived or driven like their leaders after greed and self- aggrandizement, no matter what the cost to others or a nation.

God continued to challenge the Jews as He spoke through Jeremiah.

“How can you say, ‘We are wise because we have the word of the Lord,’ when your teachers have twisted it by writing lies? These wise teachers will fall into the trap of their own foolishness, for they have rejected the word of the Lord. Are they so wise after all? I will give their wives to others and their farms to strangers. From the  least to the greatest, their lives are ruled by greed. Yes, even my prophets and priests are like that. They are all frauds. They offer superficial treatments for my people’s mortal wound. They give assurances of peace when there is no peace. Are they ashamed of these disgusting actions? Not at all—they don’t even know how to blush! Therefore, they will lie among the slaughtered. They will be brought down when I punish them, says the Lord” (Jeremiah 8:8-12, NLT; author’s emphasis).

America has always had those people who were driven by greed and sought to take advantage of others. There have always been corrupt leaders who led the populace astray. However, after World War II, the pursuit of the “American Dream” became one of material possession and quickly morphed into the “Me” generations of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s where the only important thing was “Me”.

This led to a further breakdown of morals, families and  society as a whole. Instead of secular and religious leaders stepping to the front to lead the people out of the immoral morass of self- centeredness, more often than not, those that the population counted on for guidance turned not to God but to their own wisdom that was seeded with deception, greed and corruption. Just like in the days of Jeremiah, the leaders, both secular and spiritual, told the people what  their itching ears wanted to hear, that all is well, there is nothing to fear; we have everything under control.

Are You Prepared to Die (for your faith in Christ)?

Not trying to be melodramatic, but it is a sobering thought.  Admittedly, the first part of the title represents a question every human being is likely to contemplate.  Most people know their birth date, but few know their date of death. The parenthetical thought is for the followers of Jesus Christ. It is a thought that I never believed I would have to ponder living in America.  Likely, neither have you.

However, as my wife and I were dining, my mind drifted to thinking about the rapid deterioration of life in America and the assumed powerlessness of the Church in America to stand up against it and realized that our (believers in Christ) time may be shorter—much shorter—than we realize.

My thoughts brought me back to the World War II quote of Pastor Martin Niemöeller, a contemporary of Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who penned:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Niemöeller’s quote is highlighted in my book, Revelation 18 and the Fate of America (2021 Edition), pages 331-332.  The statement is both insightful and revealing for our time, especially if you insert yourself into it and modify the “players” slightly to make it relevant to our era.

Sadly, we (myself included) have abdicated our God-ordained calling and responsibility to be guardians of the society in which we live.  We have given over our children—those that they allowed to live—to perverted, evil educators to warp the sensibilities and morals of our youth.  We have chosen to worship at the altar of the “American Dream” and the almighty dollar of prosperity, rather than at the altar of Almighty God.  We overlooked sin in our own lives, in the Church and in our leaders for the sake of our own prosperity and comfortability, both of which may soon be taken from us.

After our freedoms, the rule of law, our health care, our food chain, our wealth, our children, our futures are taken from us, what will be left? Our faith.  And, make no mistake about it.  They are coming for us one way or the other.  Followers of Jesus Christ are the last stumbling block to the Socialist/Marxist agenda of the destruction of America and the establishment of the One World Government of the Great Reset.  If you do not believe so, you have not been paying attention for a very long time.

It is clear that the current administration and the political left have adamant disdain for Christian and political conservatives.  Our very presence or words causes them to go into seething fits of rage.  If Christians dare stand up for the rights of the unborn, or defend their children against sexual perversion in the classrooms, or insist pornographic books be taken out of school libraries, the other side explodes with unimaginable epithets for a sane and civil society.  According to them, no gentile discourse is acceptable, only their outrageous and demented mindset and beliefs are warranted.

How long before it is demanded of us to surrender our faith in order to comply with their demands and demonic vision of the future?  What are we willing to sacrifice, if not for ourselves, but for our children, our grandchildren, the survival of American society and most importantly, the very nature of the Biblical Church in America?  What will our answer be?  What will your answer be?  The decision may be required of us a lot sooner than we think. 

If you are part of the group represented by the first half of the title, you should be asking yourself two questions.  Where will I spend eternity, and when will I die?  The first part can be determined by you, the second not likely. 

Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3).  Later, in the same dialogue, Jesus proclaimed, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

Although most people who claim to be Christians they call upon Jesus as their “fire insurance”, to be saved from hell.  However, a true Christian wants Jesus to be the Lord of their life as well.

Jesus made it clear. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:21-23).  True believers not only call upon Jesus to save them from their sins, but also submit their lives to Him as their Lord.

Where do you stand during these hellacious times?  Are you prepared to die?

Another Nail in America’s Coffin?

With the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 and the break-up of its satellite nations, Ukraine inherited the third largest stockpile of nuclear weapons, including 1,900 strategic nuclear weapons, thanks to the destruction of the communist bloc.  The United States and the West were not comfortable, nor was Russia, with Ukraine harboring such a dangerous cache of destructive military material.

However, under guarantees from Russia, Britain and the United States for its safety, on December 5, 1994, Ukraine signed the Budapest Memorandum.  This obligated the U.S., Britain and Russia to respect Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and borders and to “refrain from the threat or use of force.”

In exchange, Ukraine would give up all its nuclear stockpile, with the remaining nukes given to Russia in 1996.

Of course, Russia and Vladimir Putin violated that agreement in 2014 with the takeover of the Crimea.  The United States and Briton remained silent and unmoved, thus signaling their silent consent and giving Putin the “green light” for further aggression.  However, Putin’s plans were allayed by President Trump’s administration.

With the election of Joe Biden as the new U.S. leader, Putin knew he had a weak adversary and had the upper hand.  He knew the West would institute sanctions, but knew he could count on China who has its own territorial ambitions.  Sanctions mean nothing to tyrants and dictators.  Just look at Iran, North Korea and Venezuela as examples.

Despite repeated pleas from the president of Ukraine, the U.S. has reneged on its security guarantees for the Ukraine.  Putin has called the West’s bluff and won.  What will prevent him from breaching the boundaries of other former Soviet satellites?  What deterrents does the West have left?

America has abdicated its position as a world leader.  It can no longer be trusted to follow through on its commitments.  It is no longer a respected world power and tyrants smell blood in the water.

God forgive us for yet another sin against humanity.

The European Theatre Revisited

No, I am not talking about another Shakespearean play, but the World War II theatre of war in Europe.  Is the U.S. and the civilized world repeating the same mistakes it did in 1939?

The rise of the demonic leader, Adolph Hitler, in Germany was no great secret.  Hitler made his maniacal intentions very clear to Europe and the world.  However, on September 1, 1939, with his bloody invasion of Poland, the U.S. and the world largely remained unmoved and silent.  Just like Vladimir Putin of Russia, Hitler claimed the move into Poland was a defensive military move to prevent Poland’s mistreatment of Germans and to defend the Mother Land. 

Hitler was also taking advantage of the emotional sting of Germany’s World War I defeat where many Germans resented losing a portion of their country—the provinces of West Prussia, Poznan and Upper Silesia—to Poland under the Treaty of Versailles of May 7, 1919.  Under the treaty, Germany lost 13 percent of its territory and 10 percent of its population.

The similarity of circumstances of Poland vs. Ukraine and the mindset of Hitler vs. Putin are striking and should be sobering for the West. Will we repeat the same mistakes again and sow the seeds of another world war?

The initial response of Britain and France was a policy of appeasement with Hitler, even after he seized the country of Czechoslovakia six months earlier in March, 1939.  Instead of the European community confronting the aggressive warlike rhetoric of Hitler, Briton and France acquiesced to Hitler’s desire to absorb the German speaking western region of Czechoslovakia under the Munich Agreement of September 30, 1938.

Six months later, not satisfied with a portion of the Czech country, Hitler took over the entire country, violating the Munich Agreement.

Again, the similarities between the beginning of World War II and the current war in the Ukraine initiated by the Hitler wannabe, Putin, should be a giant red flag for Europe and the West.  Putin has not been satisfied with his conquest of the Crimea.  He wants all of the Ukraine and he does not care what havoc he causes or how many innocent people are slaughtered.  If successful—and he can not be allowed to succeed—he will not stop with the Ukraine.  Just like Hitler, he has his eyes on Finland and Sweden, which he has already warned against them pursuing membership in NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), joining 30 other European countries for a common defense.

It is not like the European countries and the United States have not had enough warning about the Soviet dictator’s obsessions and intentions.  It has been eight years since Putin and his thuggish military took over the Crimea region of the Ukraine on March 18, 2014.  Yet, the world dithered and did nothing.

This too brings back a painful reality.  Pre-World War II, the United States and much of Europe, twiddled their thumbs as Hitler boldly proclaimed German superiority and territorial rights.  The U.S. only declared war on Germany after Hitler and Germany foolishly declared war on the U.S. earlier on the day of December 11, 1941.  It is possible, because America had already declared war on Japan because of their attack on Pearl Harbor four days earlier, the U.S. just might have let Hitler’s aggression continue in Europe unabated.  Instead, the U.S. Congress voted unanimously (88-0 in the Senate; 393-0 in the House) to go to war against Germany as well.  Could such a unanimous vote be achieved today against a warring enemy?

With the election of an unproven and unknown non-politician of Donald Trump as the leader of the free world, Putin and other tyrants were forced to allay their ambitions due to the unpredictability of a Trump presidency.  However, now that the world’s tyrants and despots see that America is led by a weak, bumbling, senile septuagenarian, they have become emboldened and salivating at their new and potentially unabated opportunities for territorial conquest.

Sanctions-Smanctions. Putin could care less about sanctions.  Tyrants do not care about the pain they inflict on others, even their own countrymen.  China has his back, as Russia will have China’s back if they decide to invade Taiwan.  They know that the U.S. military under Biden is weak, demoralized, ill equipped and spread far too thin around the world to be an effective deterrent or co-defender of Taiwan.  In addition, the “woke” American military leaders are more concerned about mandatory vaccination, transgender equity and environmentally green war machines than they are about military preparedness.

Sanctions, no matter how stiff, take weeks or months to make an impact.  Tyrants do not respond to sanctions, they respond to military might and defeat.  That is the sad reality.

Instead of sanctions that could take days, weeks or months and be of little effect, why not seize Russian financial assets immediately and appropriate them to support the Ukrainian people and their defense?  Seize every Russian oil tanker leaving a Russian port and re-allocate the oil or its proceeds to replace the Ukrainian oil and infrastructure destroyed by Russia’s invading forces.  Nothing would send a stronger and sweeter message to Putin than using Russian assets to fight against him and destroy his economic base.

The weakened and stretched thin U.S. military that was decimated under President Obama, strengthened under Trump and then destroyed again under Biden would not likely be up to a multi-front worldwide war or a joint military assault by Russia and China in Europe, Southeast Asia or the Middle East in a linked effort with Iran and Syria against Israel.  Think Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38.

Putin knows that the U.S. is weak and led by a mentally compromised, do-nothing president that is backed by communists and communist sympathizers.  Other tyrants wait in line.  If Putin succeeds in taking over Ukraine, will China invade Taiwan; will North Korea attempt to strike South Korea and will Iran and its proxies go against Israel?  Much is at stake.  Ukraine cannot be defeated.  If Europe and the U.S. do not help to stop Putin, the world could erupt into an End Times scenario rapidly.

The Democrats have found a New Way to Destroy America’s Military

On September 24, 2015 I posted 35 Ways to Destroy America’s Military & Defenses (from within) detailing how President Obama and his administration were systematically destroying our military.  Now, it appears that his former vice president and now America’s Commander-in-Chief has discovered one sure fire way to finish the job.

With the confirmation of General Lloyd Austin on January 22, 2021 as the new Secretary of Defense (SOD), newly elected President Joe Biden found a true soulmate to demolish what was left of the American military esprit de corps.  On July 29, 2021, President Biden ordered his new SOD to take steps to ensure all 1.3 million military personnel were fully vaccinated for COCID-19.

“Men and women in uniform, who protect this country against grave threats, should be protected as much as possible from getting COVID-19,” the President noted.  However, even at this late date in the fight against COVID, none of the vaccines had received the clearance of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  Despite this reality, Biden stated, “The question is, when is the right time to get the most bang for the buck. A lot of this is timing. I think it’s going to happen, but … it’s still a temporary approval.”

So, it’s the “bang for the buck” that is most important, not the health and safety of the U.S. military.  It does not matter what effect the unproven vaccines will have on the wellness and combat readiness of the U.S. military forces.  The President overrode the SOD’s preference to wait until the FDA approved one or more of the vaccines.  At the time of the President’s mandate, the FDA had not approved any of the COCID vaccines other than for emergency use under the government’s Emergency Use Act (EUA).

However, less than a month later, perhaps mindful of Biden’s directive, the FDA approved the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine on August 23, 2021.  Since then, only Moderna’s vaccine has received FDA approval (January 31, 2022).  Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine still has not received FDA approval.

On August 6, 2021, despite no FDA approved vaccines, SOD Austin announced that he would move forward with the President’s request to vaccinate the remaining 36 percent of America’s military personnel under his command.  The COVID vaccine is in addition to the possible 17 vaccines already required for most service personnel.

At the time of Austin’s announcement, an estimated 74% of active and reserve naval members had received at least one COVID vaccine dose; 60-65% of Air Force and 50% of Army personnel.  Military personnel refusing to get the vaccine were threatened with severe punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

On October 18, Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), wrote a letter to Secy. Austin, stating his concerns. “This haphazardly implemented and politically motivated vaccine mandate must be immediately suspended or risk irrevocable damage to our national security.”

However, the Pentagon indicated it had no plans to drop the mandatory vaccination of all military troops.  This, despite hundreds of thousands of active military members who were resisting taking the vaccine for various personal reasons, even though refusal could mean the end of their military career.

On October 21, 2021, a group of independent Israeli doctors and scientists wrote a letter to the FDA stating that the Pfizer data from Israel was deeply flawed on the safety of the Pfizer vaccine and warned about the data’s reliability for approving of the Pfizer vaccine.  The FDA ignored their concerns.

Although the vaccine mandates are being contested in courts across America, the Biden Administration and the Department of Defense (DOD) are adamant on moving forward with their fully vaccinated requirement for all military personnel, as well as all Americans.

With December 15, 2021 set as the deadline for all military personnel to comply with the mandate, Darrel Issa (R-CA) penned an Op-Ed for Fox News the same day.

“It is also the day,” Issa wrote, “that may set into motion one of the most grievous injuries ever perpetrated upon our military by its commander in chief.

“Why? Because President Biden is threatening to discharge every member of the military who expresses a religious exemption or nothing more than a cautionary reluctance to immediately obey his sweeping vaccine mandate.”

The personnel who were reluctant to get the fully proven vaccine, were, perhaps, the wisest of all.  On January 10, 2022, Pfizer CEO, Albert Bourla, disclosed that two doses of his company’s vaccine “offer very limited protection, if any” against the omicron variant.  However, two days earlier, it was reported that the Omicron variant now represented 95% of all new COVID cases.

On the same day as Bourla’s disclosure, Life Site News reported on the Truth for Health Foundation press release.

The Biden administration and top military brass are using illegal COVID mandates to severely compromise national defense readiness by illegally forcing the experimental COVID vaccines, purging military members who request medical or religious accommodations, engaging in physical punishment, hazing and shaming of unvaccinated military service members, denying medical treatment to those with COVID, and covering up serious vaccine injuries and deaths, in egregious violations of soldiers’ religious and civil rights guaranteed under the US Constitution, Truth for Health Foundation has learned.

What the Biden Administration and the Department of Defense are doing to our honorable sons and daughters in the military is unconscionable.  Our service members are being illegally ordered to take an EUA product while being told it is “FDA-approved.” Comirnaty, the only FDA-approved COVID shot is not available on any U.S. military installation in the US or overseas, according to military sources. If service members request a religious or medical exemption, they face extra duty, public humiliation, and threats of dishonorable discharge. If they talk about it, they risk career ending discipline. Some have been arrested for requesting a religious exemption, a Constitutional right all of our military take an oath to defend.

It is also clear, the Biden Administration, including the President and the Secretary of Defense do not adhere to or care about the individual rights of U.S. citizens or military members.  The importance is for American citizens and taxpayers to follow dictatorial mandates, no matter how damaging they are to personal health and well-being.

On January 25, 2022, Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), held a lengthy hearing on the impact of the COVID vaccines and mandates in the United States and in the U.S. military.  The political left and Democrats immediately cried “foul” and rejected the testimonies as false and misleading information.  You decide.

During the hearing, attorney Thomas Renz, who was representing certain military members opposing the DOD vaccine mandates, presented troubling vaccine data from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED).  “All data [on the DMED site is] obtained directly from the Defense Health Agency, Armed Forces Health Surveillance Branch—Public Health Division.”

The DMED database is similar to the CDC’s VAERS reporting system, but specific for only DOD personnel and reported by physicians only.

The day after the Johnson hearing and Renz’s disclosure, this author visited the DMED site and obtained the following data on the COVID vaccine impact on America’s military personnel.  The health data of January through November, 2021 is presented as a comparison to the average medical incidence for the period of 2016 through 2020 (pre-vaccine).  Following are the dramatic increases in various medical conditions reported in those receiving the COVID vaccine.  Remember, it is the mRNA Pfizer BioNTech vaccine that is the only vaccine used on the U.S. military.  Here are the results:

• Acute Myocardial Infarction (blockage of blood flow to the heart), +269%
• Acute Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscles), +285%
• Acute pericarditis (inflammation of the heart sac), +175%
• Bell’s Palsy (Muscle weakness on half of face), +319%
• Cerebral Infarction (stroke), +393%
• Chest Pain (unspecified), +1,529%
• DIC (Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation; blood clotting), +1,175%
• Dyspnea/SOB (Labored Breathing), +905%
• Guillain-Barre Syndrome (Immune System attacking the nerves; paralysis), +250%
• HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Syndrome; inability to fight infection), +590%
• Immuno-deficiencies, +275%
• ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura; attacking blood platelets), +322%
• Menstrual Irregularity, +476%
• MS/Demyelinating Dz (Multiple Sclerosis), +487%
• Neoplasms (Abnormal Tissue Growth; Cancer), +296%
• Non-traumatic SAH/ICH (Cerebral Aneurysm or Hemorrhage), +312%
• Pulmonary Embolism (Lung Blood Clotting), +467%
• Spontaneous Abortion, +306%

Despite this disastrous data revelation, the national media and the DOD ignored it and it went largely unreported.  In fact, shortly after the DMED data disclosure, the DMED site was scrubbed under the guise that the data was faulty and had to be reviewed.  Which is more disturbing?  The original data itself, or the fact that the military cannot report such data accurately?

“The expulsion of these service members who refuse the vaccine, along with the thousands who are injured or killed because of it, will have disastrous effects on the United States’ national security in the immediate and long term future.”

Has God Removed His Hand from America?

The Wrath of God. In case you have not been paying attention, we now live in the most dangerous time in American history. This is not hyperbole, it is a fact. It is the first time in U.S. constitutional history that the government of the United States–the government that is supposed to be “that government of the people, by the people, for the people“–has turned fully against the people.

This is America’s “watershed” year. Not just for the country, but, more importantly, for the Church in America. We are either going to repent of our evil deeds and the support of them, or we are going to see God’s judgment unleashed. As I posted here, God cannot and will not live in the presence of sin. It should be apparent by now, that God has removed His hand from America, just like He did with ancient Israel when they refused to repent and return to Him.

“But America is a Christian Nation and His Church is here,” you might counter. God would not destroy America for the sake of the Christians here, you might reason. God did not spare Israel, His “Chosen People” for the sake of a remnant of faithful Jews. Today, faithful Christians all over the world are being persecuted without mercy by the hundreds of millions. Why should American Christians experience anything less?

While the Jews of ancient Israel were known to sacrifice their children to pagan gods, they paled by comparison to the United States and its sacrifice of nearly 63 million children to the heinous act of abortion. Worldwide, the globe is fast approaching 2 billion (YES, BILLION) abortions, all thanks to the U.S. introducing and promoting this murderous act in the populations of the earth.

Can God ever forgive us? The Church for staying silent? The voters who turned a blind eye? Did He turn from Israel’s sin? No! Why would He turn away from America’s sin? And, it’s just one of many iniquities as we continually thumb our noses at Him and tell Him to buzz off.

Powers-to-be. There are powers-to-be in our midst that desire to destroy America and all it has stood for in its almost 250 years of existence.  We may attach to these powers monikers like, Democrats, socialists, Marxists, leftists, and others.  However, the Apostle Paul refers to them as “principalities” and “powers . . . rulers of the darkness of this age . . . spiritual hosts of wickedness . . .” (Ephesians 6:12).  Paul prefaces his identification of these evil forces by stating, “we do not wrestle [fight, struggle] against flesh and blood,” but against these invisible spirits of evil. 

That is a difficult spiritual concept to keep before us, especially if we are followers of Christ, when we see so much evil being committed by humans around the world that is contrary to God’s word.  It is far too easy to want to slap a label on an individual or group, as evil or doing evil, and thus fall into the devil’s trap that he uses to pigeon-hole believers in Jesus Christ.

I admit, I have been guilty of the same, as many Christians have.  But we must resist and pray against the spiritual powers and pray for the salvation of those who have succumbed to the temptations and accusations of the evil one. We live in an ever-increasing evil world where man’s capacity for hatred and doing evil have reached mammoth proportions. Many believe, especially in the Church, that we are now in the End Times, and we just might be there or very near. Can the world get any more wicked?

That is my introductory sermon, now here is what is happening in America that threatens our very existence.  For the sake of brevity I will refer to the evil forces among us as the “Powers-to-Be” or “PTB.”  They represent many people, groups and national leaders through whom the spiritual forces of darkness have found willing pawns. Let us start with the plague that seems like it will never go away.

The Planned Pandemic/Scamdemic.  Fraud! Fraud! Fraud!  Yes, there was indisputable election fraud during the 2020 presidential election.  Perhaps the greatest proof of that is that the Democrats have been fighting tooth and nail to prevent county and state audits where election irregularities are suspected and documented.  If you believe the election was free and honest, as the Democrats constantly proclaim, then why would they be outraged at the call for an audit where suspicious voting practices and vote counting took place?  It’s clear, they know there was fraud because they were the perpetrators. It was absolutely essential for the socialist agenda of the Democrats and the Chinese Communist Party, that Trump not win the 2020 election and they pulled out all the stops to prevent it.  Unfortunately, President Trump unwittingly aided them in their effort by succumbing to his personal weakness of pride (which I detailed in previous posts here, here and here).

Now, about COVID-19.  Is it a real virus with real health consequences for some people? Yes, sort of.  However, it is a “lab-designed” bio-weapon already in existence prior to 2019.  On January 3, 2007, the NIH posted the research findings of a group of medical scientists, including Dr. Ralph Baric an epidemiologist at the University of North Carolina. Among other findings, the group reported, Young inbred mice support SARS-coronavirus (SARS-CoV) replication in the respiratory tract and are available in sufficient numbers for statistical evaluation. A few years later Dr. Baric would collaborate with Dr. Zhengli Shi of the Chinese Communist Party’s Wuhan Laboratory on “gain-of-function” research for the SARS-CoV virus.

Fast Forward. Toward the end of 2019 and into January, 2020, with Trump’s re-election looking like a certainty (think of his rallies of tens of thousands vs. Biden’s closet campaign), China and the Democrats realized they had to take desperate measures to shut it all down.  The health and safety of the world’s population was of little concern. Outlandish! Some of you might exclaim, particularly if you are a Democrat voter.  But, do I have your attention?  At least for a few more minutes. Without being a medical doctor or medical researcher or scientist, I knew right from the start there was something really suspect about this “pandemic” and said so in dozens of posts in 2020 and 2021.

First, let me ask you some questions to ponder as I move forward.

How did this “novel” virus, which was developed in a lab at the University of North Carolina and enhanced at the Wuhan Lab in China, “escape” the Chinese lab at the perfect time to destroy the Trump economy and send the American voter into apoplectic spells of unwarranted fear?

How did it spread so rapidly around the earth?

Why was the very first response in the United States to isolate healthy people from each other; shutdown the economy; and dehumanize people through worthless mask wearing?

Why were we continually misled (read: lied to) by the CDC, FDA, WHO, politicians, Dr. Fauci, the media and even our own doctors?

Why were medical professionals, including epidemiologists, medical scientists and others who were trying to present the truth about COVID, silenced, threatened and even arrested?

Why were scientific studies that presented true science, but contradicted the Democratic narrative on COVID, banned, ridiculed and not reported by the media?

Why were known, inexpensive cures for COVID, like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, taken off the market and thousands of doctors who prescribed it were threatened, ridiculed, barred or fired?

How were the COVID vaccines created at “warp” speed using unproven research and technology and pushed upon unsuspecting citizens without FDA approval, adequate research or testing and with no liability for the Big Pharma manufacturers? Normally it takes 8-15 years to develop an effective vaccine.

Why is it essential for certain politicians to pit the people who chose to get vaccinated against those who chose not to and destroy relationships among families, co-workers, community and church members, etc.?

AND, if the current administration is so concerned about the “virus” and the impact on the health and safety of the American people, why are they encouraging and transporting thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants from all over the world (where COVID has and still rages) without testing them for COVID or allowing them to disperse into America unvetted after they test positive for COVID?

In 2021 alone, according the U.S. Border Patrol, the number of illegal immigrants crossing the Rio Grande River border, was 1,741,956. This is a 278 percent increase over the 2020 total of 458,088 when President Trump was actively discouraging illegal immigration by building the border wall. Back in August, 2021, American Military News and other sources, reported 18-20 percent of illegals caught crossing the border tested positive for COVID-19.

These illegal immigrants are coming from all over the world, not just Mexico, Central and South America (Fox News).  They are flooding the border from Africa, Haiti, Asia, the Middle East, China and they include drug and human traffickers, terrorists, criminals and other undesirables.  Border Patrol claims that immigrants from over 120 countries have crossed into the United States. This is not sustainable and will destroy America, just as the PTB have planned.

The list of questions could go on and on.  However, if you are not troubled by at least one or two of these, then please stop reading because you are not interested in pursuing truth.  That is not an indictment, just an observation.

This pandemic was planned a long time ago and had its seeds revealed in a Rockefeller Foundation report of May 13, 2010.  However, according to Dr. David Martin, a National Intelligence Analyst, the CDC and Dr. Anthony Fauci sought to patent COVID (coronavirus) as early as 2003.

Martin reported: They [Fauci and the CDC] saw that a virus that they knew could be easily manipulated, was something that was very valuable.

In 2003 they sought to patent it, and they made sure that they controlled the proprietary rights to the disease, to the virus, and to its detection and all the measurement of it.

From 2003 to 2018, they controlled 100% of the cash flow that built the empire around the industrial complex of coronavirus.

The PTB are effectively using COVID-19 and its variants to destroy the America they hate. On July 29, Biden announced: “Every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status.  Anyone who does not attest or is not vaccinated will be required to mask no matter where they work; test one or two times a week to see if they have acquired COVID; socially distance and generally not be allowed to travel for work. 

“Likewise, today, I am directing my administration to take steps to apply similar standards to all Federal contractors.  If you want to do business with the federal government get your workers vaccinated. 

“Look! This is not about Red states and Blue states.  It’s literally about life and death. It’s about life and death!  That’s what it’s about” (USA Today).  No, it’s about control, deception and manipulation of the citizens of the U.S. in order to create their “utopian” Marxist collective. Even after the Supreme Court moved against his mandates, President Biden encouraged businesses to follow his directive. The PTB are above the law—they are the law.
