Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.
Notwithstanding over two centuries of American worldwide generosity and freedom fighting, it seems that the majority of the world has come to despise the United States of America. Even though America has become the melting pot of worldwide culture and ethnic groups and the desired destination of millions from everywhere on the globe, there has been an ever-growing hatred toward America—not so much for Americans themselves, but their government and governmental representatives.
She weeps bitterly in the night, her tears are on her cheeks; among all her lovers she has none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; they have become her enemies. Lamentations 1:2
While America has brought much economic and spiritual good to the world she has also transmitted much arrogance, pain and sorrow. Although to the outside observer it seemed that America’s wealth was unlimited as she dispersed billions of dollars abroad over the last century while indulging in ever greater riches, now she stands alone as her factories and infrastructure are in shambles, her economy weakened and her financial debt insurmountable. No one is rushing to America’s aid. In fact, many around the world, either openly or secretly, are hoping for America’s demise.
Abetting the Enemy. America is one of the few nations of the world that is famous for aiding its enemies, whether vanquished or not. After World War II the United States flooded Germany and Japan with billions of dollars in aid and loans to re-build their economies and infrastructure. From 1946 through 1952 the United States provided Germany with $29.3 billion in assistance (2005 constant dollars), of which 60 percent was economic grants and 30 percent economic loans. During the same period, Japan received $15.2 billion, of which only 23 percent were loans.
There can be no greater error than to expect, or calculate upon real favours from Nation to Nation. ‘Tis an illusion which experience must cure, which a just pride ought to discard (George Washington, Farewell Address, September 19, 1796).
However, such generosity by the United States toward its former enemies pales by comparison to U.S. aid to the more recent foes, Iraq and Afghanistan. During the ten year period of 2002-2011 the economies and militaries of Iraq and Afghanistan received $64.37 billion and $60 billion, respectively, courtesy of U.S. taxpayers. Those figures do not include the hundreds of billions spent on the U.S. military intervention there, nor the millions of dollars the U.S. presence there brought to the local economy, nor all the U.S. military equipment donated to their militaries because our military deemed it to be excess. The aid given to these two countries, in each case, was double that which Israel received from the U.S. during the same period.
In the case of Afghanistan, the U.S. aid of $12.9 billion they received in 2011 represented two-thirds of the country’s income for that year. What the taxpayers of the U.S. have received in return, as of October 8, 2013, for America’s presence in the two countries has been U.S. military casualties of 58,330 (6,765 deaths and 51,565 wounded); plus another 253,330 men and women that have suffered traumatic brain injury and, of course, trillions of dollars (current and future) added to the country’s already mind-numbing federal debt.
However, the real cost to American families and the American taxpayer is far greater than just in the military theatre of operations. Hundreds of millions will continue to be spent each year for disability benefits, hospitalization, rehabilitation and therapy for the veterans of these conflicts. Thousands of families are irreparably damaged; dreams shattered and lives put on hold. The real cost to America’s economy and social well-being is incalculable.
With this full-flung intervention into Islamic culture and centuries-old sectarian conflicts, American politicians still operate under the delusion that democracy can be brought to the world of Islam. Democracy and personal freedom are alien to the Islamic culture and mindset (see Islam & Christianity: A Revealing Contrast). Islam, by teaching and practice, is a sworn enemy of Israel and the United States and all non-Muslims in general. Yet, American leaders persist in thinking that the beast of Islam can be soothed with money and democratic principles.
In a 2011 opinion poll, Pew Research discovered that the view of America was “overwhelming negative in predominately Muslim countries.” In Egypt, for example, where Egyptians have received $71.6 billion in U.S. aid from 1948-2011 (second only to Israel during the same period), 79 percent of Egyptians still despise the U.S. Only 21 percent of Egyptians even care about an “anti-terrorism” campaign, while 64 percent have no confidence in U.S. President Obama. Similar statistics emerged from other Muslim countries throughout the Middle East.
Even though the average Egyptian hates the U.S. and despite the political and economic chaos and rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the U.S. still plans on providing the oppressive regime with 1200 M1A1 Abrams battle tanks and 20 F-16 fighter jets in 2013. For Egypt, U.S. aid provides for 80 percent of the country’s military purchases.
Since the mid-1990s over $4 billion in U.S. aid has flooded the Palestinian Territories (West Bank and Gaza Strip). Since 2008, the PT has received an average of $500 million per year in U.S. taxpayer subsidies. However, despite such lavish support, 80 percent of Palestinians do not like the U.S. and 84 percent have no confidence in Obama. Since Obama took office in 2009, the Middle East Muslim’s favorable view of the U.S. has dropped 4-12 percentage points in countries like Turkey, Egypt and Jordan.
As Detroit and other American cities and counties file for bankruptcy and slide into decay, the U.S. government dispenses nearly $50 billion per year abroad to shore up the economies of 180-plus countries.
To add insult to injury, so to speak, many of the countries that receive the largest portion of U.S. aid are also holders of U.S. debt in the form of trillions of dollars in U.S. Treasury notes. In essence, the U.S. grants foreign aid to countries that may or may not need it and then borrows money from those countries. With such clever business dealings, as a business, the United States would be in bankruptcy court. If it were not for the power of the printing press to print more and more funny money, the United States would, indeed, be bankrupt.
Islamic Invasion of America. The amount of information that documents the infiltration of radical Muslims into America and into American politics, education and law, is overwhelming and beyond the scope of this book. Although such infiltration has been underway for five decades or more it has become more pronounced and aggressive under the Obama administration.
The liberal mainstream media and politicians routinely deny or downplay the presence of Islamic militants and Muslim terrorist groups inside the U.S. But the truth is that they are well entrenched and have found a welcoming collaborator at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC.
Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs and an Islam in America watchdog, made a Freedom of Information request of the U.S. Department of Justice early in 2011. A year later she received over 14,000 documents showing just how cozy the radical Muslim Brotherhood groups are with the DOJ. “One thing is clear,” Geller noted, “the Muslim Brotherhood has fully infiltrated command and control at the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division.”
The documents clearly show that despite members of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) being named as unindicted co-conspirators in a scheme to fund the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, the two groups and other radical Islamic groups are welcomed guests at the DOJ Civil Rights Division’s “Monthly Outreach Meeting” and the Whitehouse as well.
However, this type of regular access is just the tip of the iceberg since Obama has taken up residence in the Whitehouse. The numbers of Muslims, particularly those associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, in the Obama Cabinet has expanded rapidly and provide Muslims of uncertain determination access to sensitive security sectors and information.
The House and Senate intelligence committees, using federal court documents, have discovered that almost every well-established Muslim organization in America is a front group for the Brotherhood. Members of these organizations have gained favor with the Obama Administration and have ready access to the departments of Homeland Security and Justice. According to Obama’s own Department of Justice, at least 61 members or units of the Muslim Brotherhood are operating openly within the United States. They are heavily funded by wealthy Saudi Arabia nationals and other wealthy Middle East Muslim citizens.
Despite this revelation and clear threat to American security and sovereignty, President Obama has surrounded himself with Muslim sympathizers and radical Islamists.
According to a translation by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (http://www.investigativeproject.org), the Egyptian magazine, Rose El-Youssef, released the names of six known Muslim Brotherhood operatives that serve deep within the Obama Administration. The magazine claims that this has transitioned the United States “from a position hostile to Islamic groups and organizations in the world to the largest and most important supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.”
The six named in the article include: Arif Alikhan, the assistant secretary of the Department Homeland Security (DHS) for policy development; Mohammed Elibiary, a member of the DHS Advisory Council; Rashad Hussain, the U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference; Salam al-Marayati, co-founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC); Imam Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and member of the DHS Countering Violent Extremism Working Group; and Eboo Patel, a member of President Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.
In addition, those working close with Obama or his staff, include such radical Islamists as, Huma Abedin, Deputy Chief of Staff to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; Azizah Al-Hibri, member of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom; Kareem Shora, DHS Advisory Council; Nawar Shora, Senior Advisor to the Civil Rights and Liberties Office of the Transportation Security Administration and Dalia Mogahed, Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Also, there are numerous known Muslim Brotherhood members or sympathizers who have been or are supporters of Obama and have easy access to the president and influence his policies toward Muslims and Israel.
Such pandering, aiding and abetting of the enemy by America’s own leadership will surely bring future disaster upon America if it is not overcome by sensible, patriotic citizens. America has not only become a breeding ground for those who desire to bring it harm, but has found a welcome sign on the front door of the Whitehouse.
Not only has the theology and indoctrination of America’s enemies found its way into American politics and politicians, but it has found fertile ground in American education. In 2008, the American Textbook Council (ATC) discovered that ten of the most widely used history textbooks used in junior and senior high schools in America blatantly promoted Islam and concealed the terroristic threat within Islam. They included such popular history textbooks as: Medieval and Early Modern Times by Jackson J. Spielvogal; World History: Medieval and Early Modern Times by Douglas Carnine, et al; History Alive! The Medieval World and Beyond by Bert Bower and Jim Lobdell and World History: The Modern World by Elizabeth Gaynor Ellis and Anthony Esler.
