The Somali: What to Expect

Somalia Coat of Arms

James F. Gauss

January 7, 2020

Just by the title I can see the heads of the leftists and the interfaithers exploding. But I press on.

Many years ago I had the opportunity to spend several years working closely with a large population of Somali in America on a daily basis. It was a complete immersion experience where I was in their homes almost every day. I became familiar with the culture and customs. Many shared their stories of hardship and personal tragedy back home in Somalia, and/or during their arduous trip to a safer, freer environment. In addition to visiting with families and individuals (young and aged), I also spoke with imams, community leaders and their Qur’an scholar. In addition, I delved into personal research on Somalia, the culture and Islamic beliefs; studied the Qur’an and hadiths. Since I had never met a Somali or a Muslim in my life, I had no preconceived opinion or impression to guide or prejudice me. I grew up in a mixed race, ethnically diverse East Coast neighborhood, and as an adult, on at least two occasions, I chose to live in a neighborhood of color. I share all this only to set the stage for what was to follow.

Initially, our relationships were friendly and pleasant. I found most Somali to be genuinely likeable. However, I also discovered that their thinking and mindset was significantly different from my Westernized, Christian upbringing and lifestyle. As I studied the Qur’an I began to understand a little more on why that might be so. It also raised some inward concerns. I thought, if the Somali (or other Muslims) really believe in what the Qur’an says and Allah commands and what the imams teach, America is in big trouble and the Church in America has a big challenge on its hands.

There was definitely a “honeymoon” period in our relationship. In my desire to build relationships I made certain concessions in order for them to feel more welcome in our community. However, I sadly discovered, that as long as I kept meeting their needs, desires and eventually demands, we remained “friends.” Conversely, when one or more expected me to overlook an injustice or wrong doing and I would not make an exception for them, the friendship quickly dissolved. Along the way, I was disheartened to discover that far too many of the friendly Somali were guilty of acts of fraud, deception and outright lying—sometimes about the most inconsequential of occurrences, where a simple admittance of guilt and apology would have sufficed to rectify the situation.

A side note. One day a young Somali boy came to me and asked if he could help me do something after school the next day. I was pleased at his offer and told him I would have a treat for him afterwards. The next day, after school, he came to see me and he had a sad face. I asked him what was wrong. He said his mother would not let him help me. “Why?” I asked. His reply: “My mom said we don’t work for white people, they work for us.” I was shocked and saddened and wondered what other things Somali children were being taught at home.

My relationship with the majority my Somali “friends” rapidly deteriorated over one incident with one individual. The person was guilty of a very serious wrong doing and I had to confront him with the truth. Despite an overwhelming amount of evidence of his wrong doing he wanted me to treat him differently and overlook his guilt. I could not. It would have been unfair, unjust, illegal and plain wrong. When I refused to back down, four or five Somali community leaders confronted me to get me to change my mind. I would not. Despite the obvious right vs. wrong, I also discovered, that what was important was for the Somali clan/family to stick together and defend one of their own, no matter how wrong or guilty he appeared to be. Understandable, but still not right under American culture.

Realizing their pressure for me to change would not work, they appealed to the city mayor. That did not work either because the mayor knew me well enough to know that I would not mistreat anyone or treat them unfairly. Then they reported me to local law enforcement. When that failed, members of their community proclaimed me a “racist” and a hater of black people and reported me to the local and regional Human Rights Commission. When a representative of the HRC visited me and heard my side and I produced the evidence to back my story, she closed the case. However, certain Somali were not done with me yet. They sicced a civil rights attorney on me, but that too failed.
To say the least, the wrong doing of one person, who could not admit that wrong doing, destroyed the relationship with the majority. Along the way, I discovered that among this group of Somali “friends” it was more important to lie and save face, then admit wrong and simply resolve the matter.

Years later I discovered the Islamic concept of taqiyya, the Islamic permission to lie and deceive another—especially a non-Muslim—when in a foreign land. Taqiyya can, and often does, affect much of the communication and understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims in the West where Muslims are in the minority. It also makes it very difficult to trust the word or action of some Muslims in their relationships with non-Muslims.

Going forward, what can non-Somali Americans expect from the immigrants from the Horn of Africa? Are they here to assimilate, adapt, embrace the American culture, our laws and experience the relative freedom and safety not available to them in their native land? Undoubtedly, some desire that and may be able to achieve it, and are certainly welcome to do so. However, I do know from personal experience and further study and observation, that the “clan” culture and Islamic teaching is so oppressive and imprisoning, that it takes an exceptional Somali/Muslim to break away from the norm and seek their own reality and truth.

So, where can we look to perhaps get a peek into America’s future with an ever growing Somali population? In addition to a thorough understanding of Islamic thought and law (shari’a), with the Somali, one might look at the Constitution of The Federal Republic of Somalia adopted August 1, 2012. The 56-page document has 143 articles.

One does not have to read very far into the constitution to understand the mindset behind it.

Article 1.
(1) Somalia is a federal, sovereign, and democratic republic founded on inclusive representation of the people, a multiparty system and social justice.
(2) After Allah the Almighty, all power is vested in the people and can only be exercised in accordance with the Constitution and the law . . .
Article 2.
(1) Islam is the religion of the State.
(2) No religion other than Islam can be propagated in the country.
(3) No law can be enacted that is not compliant with the general principles and objectives of Shari’ah.
Article 3.
(1) The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia is based on the foundations of the Holy Quran and the Sunna of our prophet Mohamed (PBUH) and protects the higher objectives of Shari’ah and social justice.
(2) The Federal Republic of Somalia is a Muslim country . . .
(3) The Federal Republic of Somalia is founded upon the fundamental principles of power sharing . . .
(4) The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia promotes human rights . . .
(5) Women must be included . . .
Article 4.
(1) After the Shari’ah, the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia is the supreme law of the country. . . .

The concept of a fair and just law under shari’ah is ludicrous, of course.  Islamic law does not permit freedom of choice, freedom of religion; nor does it promote human rights nor equality for women.

So, how committed are the Somali to a constitutionally free government of a democratic republic? According to Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List, seven years after the validation of their new constitution, Somalia ranked #3 among the top ten countries where Christians were persecuted the most. Only North Korea and Afghanistan preceded Somalia. For 2018, FreedomHouse.org published their list of Freedom in the World list of countries with the greatest degree of freedom. Of 195 countries, Somalia ranked among the top eight worst countries for personal, religious and other freedoms.

In 2013, another survey organization, Transparency International (www.transparency.org) tallied the data on 177 countries on the level of corporate and political corruption. This time Somalia was ranked #1 ahead of such well known corrupt countries as Afghanistan, North Korea and Venezuela. Five years later, for 2018, Transparency International published another Corruption Perceptions Index. Of 180 countries surveyed, Somalia was still firmly in the number one spot, with Syria, South Sudan, Yemen and North Korea nipping at its heels.

So, with so little positive going for it, it is no wonder hundreds of thousands of Somali have fled their homeland over the last two-plus decades. The question is: How much of the country’s ills and terroristic baggage that is represented in their life-long indoctrination to Islam and Shari’a (which is the inherent source of their problems) do Somali refugees leave behind?

Referring back to the Somalia constitution, remember, it is Islam that is the state ideology and it is the barbaric law of shari’a that is the primary law of the land.
In Article 8 of the Somalia constitution it states: A person who is a Somali citizen cannot be deprived of Somali citizenship, even if they become a citizen of another country.  How many Somali living outside Somalia have given up their Somalia citizenship in favor of allegiance to their new country of residence? I do not know. Does anyone? Is it a fair question? Maybe, maybe not, but I bet very few if any have renounced their allegiance to their homeland.

In June, 2012, Voice of America (VOA) published a survey of over 3000 Somali living in Somalia, but also those living in Kenyan refugee camps. Perhaps, surprisingly, despite the horrors of life in their homeland, an overwhelming 93 percent (87 strongly agreed; 6 agreed) supported shari’a as being the law of the land. Only 5 percent of Somalis surveyed were against shari’a.

Somali favoring sharia

On June 23, 2015, The Center for Security Policy released the results of a poll of 600 American Muslims taken two weeks prior. A slim majority (51%) believed that, “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to shariah.” In a different survey, when American citizens were asked the same question, only 2 percent agreed that shari’a should be an option to the U.S. Constitution.

It, of course, does not help America’s perception of Somali when the first elected person to the U.S. Congress to represent their community/district, Ilhan Omar, has clearly positioned herself as anti-American, anti-Jew and anti-Christian. But that’s a story for another post (maybe).

Is Islam a Complete Fabrication?

December 19, 2019

Is Islam a completely contrived “religion” developed over centuries by Arabic leaders seeking wealth and control over their neighbors?

understandingislamcover

Available at: https://understandingislaminthelightofchristianity.com

Is Muhammad a fictional figurehead/“prophet” conveniently conceived to promote this diabolical ideology?

Is the Qur’an a complete fabrication by many contributors, rather than a “revealed” message to one person?

Numerous academics and researchers who have studied Islam over many decades have found little proof to substantiate the claims of Islamic leaders or the validity of the Qur’an as a revealed script.

Three American author/researchers—Cheri Berens, Dr. Patricia Crone and Robert Spencer—have serious doubts about the validity of the claims of Islam and Muhammad. There are dozens more archeologists, researchers and academics over the decades who could not verify the multitude of claims by Muslims on the history and validity of Islam as a “revealed” religion to a prophet called Muhammad.

Without writing a “book,” what does Islam provide to support the veracity of the many Muslim claims about their religion and prophet?

Here is what we can surmise based on non-Muslim archeological and historical evidence:
• There is no verifiable written history about Muhammad outside of Islamic sources.
• An original Qur’an does not exist. In fact, in the early history of Islam, after Muhammad’s death (according to Islamic leaders), many different versions of the Qur’an existed, each favoring the conquest agenda of one Arabic Muslim tribe/faction or another.
• The Qur’an is a disjointed piece of literature that gives credence to the suspicion that it was created over many centuries by many Muslim contributors.
• The lack of any chronology to the chapters of the Qur’an or consistent thematic elements provide further evidence that the Qur’an is a potpourri of additions over a long period.
• The concept of abrogation, which is unique to Islam, and where Allah reveals a change in mind, offers the convenient opportunity for early followers of Islam to make changes to the developing ideology that suited past Islamic leader objectives.
• The many contrived retelling of biblical stories that contradict the original Bible accounts provide evidence that whoever created the Qur’an did not receive revelation insight, but, instead, pieced together oral fabrications.
• Although Muslims claim that Jerusalem belongs to them, the word “Jerusalem” or any reference to it does not occur in the Qur’an.
• Centuries of archeological evidence from Jerusalem and the Holy Land have produced thousands of artifacts that prove the occupation of the region by Jews for many millennia. By contrast, despite the hundreds of archeological excavations in Jerusalem and throughout the Holy Land region, no Islamic artifacts have been discovered that pre-date the seventh century.
• The Qur’an is largely a distorted collection of Jewish, Christian and pagan practices and beliefs in Arabia and its environs during the seventh and eighth centuries.
• No archeological evidence has been discovered to prove that Mecca or Medina existed during the time Muhammad was supposed to have lived.
• Of the 25 prophets claimed by Islam, 20 are from the Bible, one is Muhammad, one is Jesus, and the other three are claimed to be Arabic prophets who lived 2,000 years before Islam was birthed.
• In the Qur’an, Muhammad is only mentioned four times by name. However, Moses is cited 502 times, Abraham 245 times and Jesus 25 times.
• For a prophet of Muhammad’s supposed notoriety, there was no foretelling of his arrival among the Jews or Christians, or any other belief system before his time.
• None of Muhammad’s supposed associates are mentioned in the Qur’an.
• None of Muhammad’s 13-14 wives are mentioned in the Qur’an.
• The Qur’an is totally credited to Muhammad, even though Muslim sources say he was illiterate and there is no non-Muslim verification that he ever existed.
• Islamic sources admit that the Qur’an was an oral tradition for decades, maybe longer, before attempts were made to write it down.
• Many researchers, including Berens, have verified that the first Qur’ans were written in Aramaic (the language of Christ), not Arabic as Muslims claim.
• According to Berens, the Qur’an of today is written in a form of Arabic that is not a spoken language or in use in everyday conversation by the Arabs of the world.
• The extreme violence and retribution portrayed throughout the Qur’an are more indicative of a military manual of conquest than a spiritual guide for lost souls.
• The strong anti-Semitic and anti-Christian rhetoric in the Qur’an illustrates the main objective of Islamic caliphs after Muhammad’s “death” was the conquest and subjugation of Jewish and Christian populations in the Middle East and Europe in the 7th-12th centuries.

There are many more indicators that Islam is a contrivance of ancient Islamic caliphs to gain control over their non-Muslim neighbors, principally Christians and Jews, but also various pagan populations. The false and barbaric doctrines of Islam continue to lead billions of people astray in order to bring about world domination.

Islamic Infiltration of the U.S. Government, Part II

December 3, 2019

Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest aspiration.

Motto of the Muslim Brotherhood

Birth of the Muslim Brotherhood. In An Explanatory Memorandum, the Muslim Brotherhood laid out a very strategic plan of action to overtake America.

The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” with all the word means. The Ikhwan [Muslim brothers] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen [Islamic guerilla fighters] be equal (An Explanatory Memorandum, On the Strategic Goal for the Group in North America, 5/22/1991).

In 1928, a young Egyptian school teacher and imam, Sheikh Hassan Ahmed Abdel Rahman Muhammed al-Banna, better known as Hassan al-Banna (1906-1949), was encouraged by a few of his acolytes to form the Society of the Muslim Brothers (al-Ikhwān al-Muslimūn) or the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). Al-Banna and his followers had become increasingly frustrated with the waning influence of Islam worldwide and wanted to once again see the establishment of Islamic world dominance. He was further infuriated by the ongoing foreign economic and military presence in Egypt. By the beginning of World War II, the MB had already grown substantially within Egypt. Al-Banna and the MB movement were and are greatly influenced by the fundamentalist Sufi form of Islam centered in Egypt. He was assassinated by Egyptian secret police in 1949.

Right from the onset, the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood was an Islamic global military-type of jihad, infiltrating every aspect of non-Muslim societies.

In 1964, another Egyptian Islamist and leading MB leader, Syed Qutb Shaheed (1906-1966), published his thoughts and strategies on Islamic domination worldwide in Milestones.

In his Introduction Qutb begins:

Mankind today is on the brink of a precipice, not because of the danger of complete annihilation which is hanging over its head—this being just a symptom and not the real disease—but because humanity is devoid of those vital values which are necessary not only for its healthy development but also for its real progress. Even the Western world realises [sic] that Western civilization is unable to present any healthy values for the guidance of mankind. It knows that it does not possess anything which will satisfy its own conscience and justify its existence.

Democracy in the West has become infertile to such an extent that it is borrowing from the systems of the Eastern bloc, especially in the economic system, under the name of socialism.

Although this introduction brings forth an element of truth about the conditions in the West in the 1960s as well as today, it is Qutb’s solutions later presented that should raise concerns for the West and the non-Islamic world.

In his first chapter, Qutb presents his case for the changing of the guard.

It is necessary for the new leadership to preserve and develop the material fruits of the creative genius of Europe, and also to provide mankind with such high ideals and values as have so far remained undiscovered by mankind, and which will also acquaint humanity with a way of life which is harmonious with human nature, which is positive and constructive, and which is practicable.

Islam is the only system which possesses these values and this way of life.

In light of what has been happening throughout Europe in the last decade-plus due to accelerated Muslim immigration, it is difficult to see Islam as the source of mankind’s high ideals and values or that it presents a way of life which is harmonious with human nature. With the huge influx of millions of Muslims into European Union countries in the past decade, the primary benefits Europe has experienced are increased incidents of Islamic terrorism and a skyrocketing increase in sexual assaults on women.

Islam knows [recognizes] only two kinds of societies, Qutb wrote, the Islamic and the jahili [pre-Islamic Arabian].

Only Islam has the distinction of basing the fundamental binding relationship in its society on belief; and on the basis of this belief, black and white and red and yellow, Arabs and Greeks, Persians and Africans, and all nations which inhabit the earth become one community.

So, how did Qutb suggest creating this utopian society of fundamental binding relationship into one community? As a devout Muslim, for Qutb, the solution was simple.

No political system or material power should put hindrances in the way of preaching Islam. It should leave every individual free to accept or reject it and if someone wants to accept it [Islam], it should not prevent him or fight against him. If someone does this, then it is the duty of Islam to fight him until either he is killed or until he declares his submission.

This sounds like the proverbial my way or the highway axiom. To create this great open Islamic society, Qutb recommends forcing everyone to be a part of it or die. Yet, It should leave every individual free to accept or reject it . . .

In the United States, the Muslim Brotherhood organization is well on its way to accomplishing their goal, thanks to the complicity of American officials and others. The Gatestone Institute, in April, 2013 put together a 19-page summary on the Muslim Brotherhood and just how well they have implemented their plan (see https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/3672/muslim-brotherhood-us-government).

Key Muslim Brotherhood organizations that are well established in America include: Benevolence International Fund, Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Muslim American Society (MAS), Muslim World League, Muslim Youth of North America, North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), The Fiqh [shari’a jurisprudence] Council of North America, and The Muslim Student Association (MSA).

CAIR and the MSA are the most vociferous and belligerent representations. CAIR is a powerful, intimidating arm of the Muslim Brotherhood that has very effectively pushed its way into just about every aspect of American life. Headquartered in Washington, DC, it has at least 26 state offices around the country, including Alabama, Arizona, California (3 locations), Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio (3 locations), Oklahoma, Pennsylvania (2 locations), Texas (3 locations) and Washington. Essentially, CAIR aggressively intimidates and forces local and state governments, schools, businesses and the general public to comply with the Islamic view of life or be sued for discrimination under a variety of America’s civil rights laws.

All Muslims are above the law and above all non-Muslims who have no rights in affairs with Muslims.

Mustafa Carroll, CAIR Director, Texas

The hundreds of Muslim Student Association chapters on America’s college and university campuses are fertile recruiting grounds for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Muslims Running for Office in Record Numbers. In the 2018 mid-term election cycle, a record number—90—Muslims ran for state or federal offices in America. That was a substantial increase over the dozen or so that ran in 2016. The majority of the Muslim candidates belong to the Democratic Party. House representative, Andre Carson (D-IN), a Muslim, could hardly contain his excitement with the election of fellow Muslims, Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). “In 2030 we may have about 30, 35 Muslims in Congress,” Carson proclaimed.

“Then we’re talking about Madame Chair Rashida. We’re talking about Madame Chair Ilhan,” he added. “Hell, we could be saying Speaker of the House Ilhan, Speaker of the House Rashida, Senator Rashida, Governor Ilhan, President Fatima, Vice President Aziza.”

If those proclamations do not terrify you, how about this: Imraan Siddiqi, a member of CAIR-Arizona Board of Directors, would like to see 5,000 Muslims in America running for various state and federal offices in 2020. The vast majority will run as Democrats. On local levels, more and more Muslims are being elected to school boards, city councils, as county commissioners and other governing bodies in the United States. They are effectively accomplishing this with representing only 1-2 percent of the country’s population. What will they achieve with a 5-percent or 10-percent demographic in the near future?

New Muslim representatives, Omar and Tlaib, did not disappoint Carson and other democrats, as they quickly gained the reputation as the Democrats’ new firebrands, spouting forth one anti-Semitic, anti-Christian or anti-Trump remark after another. In their first term in office, hardly a day went by without some offensive, anti-American or anti-Jew or anti-Christian statement.

Shortly after her swearing in as Michigan’s new congresswoman, Rep. Tlaib was quick to offend sensitive ears with her expletive laced tirade on, “We’re gonna impeach the mother****r” [President Trump]. Not very professional; not very American, but it did get cheers and hoots from her Democratic faithful. Tlaib is a vociferous Palestinian-American born in Detroit. She is university educated and an attorney, so, for some, it was a shock to hear such gutter language from an elected lawmaker.

Rep. Omar, a Somali refugee, who immigrated to the U.S. and Minnesota at a young age, made even more noise with offensive, often anti-Semitic, anti-American or anti-Christian tweets or statements, in her first term in office. She has shown little respect or decorum in her daily duties as the newly elected first Somali in the U.S. Congress. She once tweeted (in 2012) that, “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel. #Gaza #Palestine #Israel.”

Muslims in political office are heavily influenced and controlled by CAIR, the leading Muslim Brotherhood organization in America. They and the MB have one primary goal and that is to further infiltrate and control the government of the United States (both state and federal), “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.

Islamic Infiltration of the U.S. Government, Part I

November 25, 2019

What America’s Founders knew about Islam.  The earliest record of Islam’s interface with America was when the Muslim Barbary Coast pirates tried to extort money from the fledgling United States of America in 1786 in exchange for safe passage of America’s merchant ships through the straits of Gibraltar at the neck of the Mediterranean Sea. The U.S. government sent Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin abroad to negotiate with the Muslim ambassador in Tripoli, Libya. After considerable negotiations, the American representatives could see no other way out of the predicament other than agree to pay an exorbitant ransom, which amounted to ten percent of America’s GDP (Gross Domestic Product) at the time.

On March 28, 1786, in a letter to Secretary of State, John Jay, who was in London at the time, Jefferson and Adams shared the following observations.

We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretentions to make war upon Nations who had done them no Injury, and observed that we consider all mankind as our friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation.

The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.

Jefferson, Adams and Franklin knew the United States did not have the money that the Muslim ambassador demanded. Their only hope was to get the U.S. Congress to agree to allow them to make a loan agreement with Holland.

John Adams, in his report to John Jay, gave his impression of Islam. He referred to Muhammad as a “military fanatic” who “denies that laws were made for him; he arrogates everything to himself by force of arms.”

In reviewing his experience, Franklin wrote: “Nor can the Plundering of Infidels be in that sacred Book (the Qur’an) forbidden, since it is well known from it, that God has given the World, and all that it contains, to his faithful Mussulmen, who are to enjoy it of Right as fast as they conquer it.”

When Jefferson became president in March, 1801, the Barbary Coast pirates were extorting 25 percent of America’s GDP and were still attacking America’s merchant ships. Jefferson wasted no time and agreed to send the full might of America’s naval fleet to vanquish the Muslim pirates.

The Universal Goal of Islam. The goal of Islam has never changed since its inception over 1400 years ago: To conquer and subjugate the infidels wherever they may be found by any means possible and necessary. For the West and those in the United States to believe otherwise is pure folly and a potentially deadly error. As a zebra cannot change its stripes, neither can Islam be reformed into some passive, peacenik ideology.

In America, Muslims represent less than 2% of the total population. However, they have accomplished far more than in any other Western country in a very short time. Thanks to America’s diversity complex; desire to welcome all people; overall openness and kindness; Judeo-Christian heritage; ignorant and easily deceived church leaders and politicians; generous welfare laws that include non-citizens (including Social Security benefits); socialist-leaning government; adoption of the Islamist “Islamophobia” rhetoric and agenda and a host of other welcoming loopholes, Islamists are right at home in the country they seek to dominate.

Islamists—radical, fundamentalist Muslims—have successfully infiltrated America’s government (county, state and federal), military, law enforcement, educational systems (from elementary through university), legal systems, churches and every aspect of daily American life. Not fully, but effectively enough that it is changing the minds of Americans to accept the Muslim mindset more and more each day. The Muslims refer to it as the Civilization Jihad—the undermining of the very foundations of America from within.

This document, An Explanatory Memorandum, discovered by the FBI in a raid on a Muslim Brotherhood home in Annandale, Virginia in August, 2004, details the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood and its sympathizers in the United States. Despite the overt candor of the Memo, the media, most politicians and law enforcement have not taken it seriously. To the contrary, the media, politicians, law enforcement and America’s churches have become all too willing dupes of the Muslim Brotherhood. The MB is well on its way to accomplishing exactly what the Memo proclaims: destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands.

“At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.”

Abraham Lincoln, January 27, 1838

(See Revelation 18 and the Fate of America.)

Islam and the U.S. Constitution are not compatible. The First Amendment of the United States of America Constitution reads: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

America was the first nation in the history of the world to have such an extensive and all-inclusive “Bill of Rights.” Islam neither acknowledges nor believes in any of the freedoms presented in this treasured law of America.

In Islamic countries, it is the government that dictates the religion for its citizens. There is no freedom of choice for and individual to decide whether or not to worship Islam’s god. All must worship Allah or face severe persecution and consequences. Islamic governments, the mullahs and imams respect no religion other than Islam. In many Muslim countries, if one is allowed to remain a Jew or Christian, you must pay a “poll tax” that allows you to be a second class citizen. However, you cannot express your faith openly or share it with others. You are a prisoner of the confines of Islam. If your father is a Muslim, the moment you are born, you are a Muslim also. If you decide to leave Islam later in life, you risk abandonment by your family, at least, or death.

(1) Islam is the religion of the State.

(2) No religion other than Islam can be propagated in the country.

(3) No law can be enacted that is not compliant with the general principles and objectives of Shari’ah.

Article 2

The Federal Republic of Somalia

Provisional Constitution

Adopted August 1, 2012

Freedom of speech does not exist in Islam. It is Islam’s religious leaders and scholars that determine what one can say, especially if it pertains to Islam or its prophet, Muhammad. If one says anything critical or judgmental about Islam or Muhammad, one can go to prison or be executed. You are not allowed to question the ideology or its leaders. Their word is of Allah and infallible.

In Islamic countries, Islam is the Law. Islam functions as the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of government and dictates what every citizen is to believe and do. No freedom of thought or discussion is permitted.

Islam also does not observe freedom of the press. All official media must comply with Islamic teaching and not deviate in their presentations. Media releases are often fabricated to order to present the official positions of the Islamic government and to toe the line of Islamic propaganda.

The right to peacefully assemble or petition the government with grievances does not exist in Muslim countries. They are dictatorships. While there have been frequent citizen protests in places like Egypt and Iran, they are met with brutal force and death to silence any opposition to Islamic dictatorial rule.

Islam also dictates what women must wear, how they must behave, what she can do in public and basically suppress a woman’s life so that it is not her own, but only that which is dictated by her male superior.

Bottom line: Islam is oppressive, dictatorial and entraps men and women in a veil of bondage with no escape without severe consequences. It is the very antithesis of what America’s Founders envisioned and implemented by the wisdom of God Almighty.

A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within.

Faith Over Fear: The True Meaning of 1 John 4:18

November 22, 2019

(This is an excerpt from the pre-edited, pre-publication book by the author, tentatively titled, The Heresy of Interfaith Dialogue with Muslims).

20181024_182753 (3)
2019 newspaper clipping in Minnesota.

By extracting the phrase, “perfect love casts out fear,” from 1 John 4:18, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, either deliberately or ignorantly misquote the scripture within its full context and apply an unintended and completely erroneous Biblical message that is not supported by the Apostle John.

First, the complete verse is, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” What is the “fear” that John is referring to and why would it involve “torment”?
To completely understand this verse, one must understand the context of John’s intent and message which starts in verse one of the chapter.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1; author’s emphasis).

The “Beloved” are the followers of Jesus Christ and John is reminding them that they are not to believe every spirit, but rather, to “test the spirits” in order to determine if they are from God. Why? “Because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” That was true during the life of the Apostle John and it is exceedingly true today.

By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, (1 John 4:2; author’s emphasis).

“Every spirit,” the Apostle John wrote, “that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God.” In the last verse of chapter three, John makes it clear what he means about those who confess Christ as coming in the flesh.

Now he who keeps His [Christ’s] commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us (1 John 3:24).

Those who are able to confess that Jesus Christ, the Son of God (see 1 John 3:8, 5:5, 10, 12-13, 20), has come in the flesh, can only do so by the presence of the Holy Spirit that resides in them. Muslims do not believe Jesus is the Son of God, nor do they believe in the Holy Spirit.

The Qur’an proclaims, “Wonderful Originator [Allah] of the heavens and the earth! How could He have a son when He has no consort [partner], and He (Himself) created everything . . . (Qur’an 6:101).

Again, the Qur’an asserts, “. . . and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!” [from the truth] (Qur’an 9:30; see also, 4:171).

Muhammad had no concept of the Triune God or Trinity, and, in fact, included Mary, the mother of Jesus in the Trinity instead of the Holy Spirit. “And when Allah will say: O Isa [Jesus] son of Marium! Did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah, he will say: Glory be to Thee, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say) . . .” (surah 5:116).

The writer to the Hebrews made it clear the purpose of Jesus coming in the flesh as the Son of God.

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham (Hebrews 2:14-16).

The Apostle Paul, who persecuted and killed Christ-followers before Jesus revealed Himself to him, knew the importance of God sending His Son in the flesh. “O wretched man that I am!” Paul proclaimed. “Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin” (Romans 7:24-25).

In his first letter to the Church in Corinth, Paul shared further his understanding of Christ coming in the flesh.

So when this corruptible [body] has put on incorruption, and this has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory” [Isaiah 25:8].

“O Death, where is your sting? [Hosea 13:14].
O Hades, where is your victory?”

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:54-57).

It was essential for Almighty God to send His Son in the flesh; to die to the flesh as a sacrifice for all sin, for all mankind—for all those who would accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and His sacrificial death on the cross and subsequent resurrection from the dead.

The Apostle John explains it this way: Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years (Revelation 20:6).

Now, back to 1 John 4. As a reminder, in verse two, John stated: “Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,” and in the next verse, he wrote,

and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world (1 John 4:3; author’s emphasis).

In verse four, John provides comfort for those that follow Christ.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4; author’s emphasis).

Who are them and who is he? Them are the antichrists and he is the devil. Those who are in Christ Jesus—who are saved by grace through faith in Him—need not fear the antichrists or the devil because through Christ’s shed blood, He and those who accept His work on Calvary, have overcome the antichrists and the works of the devil.

“They [the antichrists] are of the world,” John continues. “Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them (1 John 4:5; author’s emphasis).

We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error (1 John 4:6; author’s emphasis).

The Apostle John is making it clear, those who are able to discern false prophets, false teaching and the antichrists are those who truly know Jesus Christ and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Islamic ideology is born and bathed in an antichrist spirit or the antichrist spirit, Satan himself. Islamic ideology proclaims the following:

• Jesus is not the Son of God;
• Jesus did not die on the cross, nor did He die at all;
• that Jesus was not resurrected;
• that He did not die for anyone’s sins;
• that there is no salvation through Jesus Christ;
• that there is no guarantee of eternal life;
• and the reversal of many other Biblical truths.

Despite this obvious antichrist ideology and firm Muslim stance against the Christian faith, interfaithers would much rather stand “shoulder to shoulder” with antichrist Muslims than join with their supposed “brothers and sisters in Christ” to bring the Gospel of Jesus to those lost in darkness.

In verse six, John states that, We are of God. Who are the we? The we of verse six that John refers to are the true followers of Jesus Christ—those who can discern the false prophets and the antichrists. Those who fully accept Jesus Christ, His atoning work on the cross and share His Gospel of salvation.

Now, for the moment, let us jump ahead to verse fourteen. “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world (1 John 4:14; author’s emphasis). To testify is to swear by, affirm, provide evidence of, bear witness to or be a witness of the truth; the reality that God the Father Almighty—not Allah—sent His Son, Jesus Christ—not Muhammad—as the Savior of the world.

All true Christians—true followers of Jesus Christ—desire to provide testimony to the truth, sacrifice and mission of Jesus Christ and His saving grace for everyone that calls upon Him for forgiveness and redemption.

But what does it [the righteousness of faith] say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:8-10

Now, to look at verse seventeen, the verse right before the verse that the interfaith group, Faith Over Fear, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, likes to partially misquote.

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17; author’s emphasis).

The New Living Translation (NLT) states the verse this way:

And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the Day of Judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world (author’s emphasis).

First, let us refresh verse 18 in its entirety:

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love (1 John 4:18; author’s emphasis).

Remember, the phrase “cherry-picked” by the ELCA interfaithers is perfect love casts out fear. However, verse 17 states clearly that this “perfect love that casts out fear” has to do with the followers of Jesus Christ not having to fear or “be afraid on the Day of Judgment.”

There is no fear in love, John proclaims. No fear in the Day of Judgment. Why? Because perfect love casts out fear. Love of who and fear of what?

According to the Apostle John, true love is this:

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another (1 John 4:7-11; author’s emphasis).

Who are the beloved? Are they the strangers among us; the non-believer; our neighbors? No, the “beloved” are strictly brothers and sisters in Christ, and only them. Are the followers of Christ called to love the non-believer and even their enemies? Yes, but that is not what John is addressing here.

The Apostle John is reiterating what Jesus taught His disciples.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13:34-35; author’s emphasis).

Right before His sacrifice on the cross, Jesus told His followers that the world of non-believers would come to know Him and His love by how those who confessed to be Christ followers loved one another. Not by how they loved their non-believing neighbor.
John, one of the apostles closest to Jesus, wrote:

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him (1 John 4:20-5:1; author’s emphasis).

Interfaithers prefer to misquote the Bible in order to justify standing with those who believe in an antichrist ideology, rather than stand with brothers and sisters in Christ who have a real desire to see captives set free from an oppressive, satanic belief system.

So, why are true Christ followers not to fear the Day of Judgment? Because:

• they discern the false spirits and the false prophets (1 John 4:1);
• they know the Spirit of God (1 John 4:2);
• they know and can identify the antichrist spirit (1 John 4:3);
• they are of God and God is in them (1 John 4:4);
• they know the antichrists are of this world (1 John 4:5);
• and they know the spirit of truth (1 John 4:6).

So, in 1 John 4:18, which interfaithers so proudly proclaim in faith over fear has nothing to do with fearing people. It solely has to do with the fear of the Day of Judgment, which the followers of Jesus Christ need not fear because Christ’s perfect love for those who chose Him, casts out all fear of judgment.

True Interfaith Dialogue with Muslims

Preaching ‘hate’ for Islam, speaker arrives in a divided Willmar

(Willmar, MN) Now, after the blaring headlines, the rest of the story. For two weeks prior to the appearance of Usama Dakdok, an Egyptian born American evangelist to Muslims and founder of The Straight Way of Grace Ministry, the Willmar, MN interfaith group tried their best to shut the event down. Failing to do so, a local “concerned” citizen launched a Face Book page that garnered almost 500 followers in an effort to get anti-Dakdok interfaithers to show up and protest the evening of the event on November 7.

It did not matter to the media and the protesters that virtually none of them had ever heard Pastor Dakdok in person. The declaration of the local paper, the West Central Tribune, was that Dakdok was an “Islamophobic individual,” a Muslim hater and racist. The primary source of their outrage and that of the interfaithers was a posting on the website of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR, which promotes itself as an Islamic civil rights group, is a Muslim Brotherhood front organization and unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial in late 2008. Not a real reliable source of information about those who oppose it or speak out about Islam.

Dakdok.20191107_180026

The event was sponsored by THEE Book Club in Willmar, a small group of concerned evangelical Christians who want to understand Islam and how to reach out to Muslims. The group was formed over a year ago and has brought a number of Christian and patriotic speakers to the region. Heidi Jo Fragerlie-Ahmann, the main spokesperson for the Club, opened the evening with her personal testimony, which was quite moving and appropriately led into the topic for the evening.

An hour before the event, interfaithers and a large number of Somali showed up to protest with signs and bullhorn in hand. They formed two long lines from the building entrance to the parking lot at Kennedy Elementary, in essence creating an intimidating gauntlet for event attendees. Nevertheless, an estimated 150 interested people attended. Surprisingly, but most welcomed, were about two dozen or more Somali attendees who stayed throughout Pastor Dakdok’s two-plus hour presentation.

Dakdok did not soften his anti-Islamic ideology message, despite the presence of the Somali attendees. Throughout his strong message of concern about Islam’s tenets of belief as expressed in the Qur’an and other Islamic sacred texts, Islamic law and worldwide terrorism by Islam’s adherents, the Somali attendees remained calm and attentive.

At varying periods during the presentation a half-dozen or so Somali visited with THEE Book Club supporters in the lobby. True interfaith dialogue occurred as individual Somali were able to express their feelings, concerns and experiences. At the same time, Christian attendees were able to express love and compassion and at the same time share words of Biblical insight. Biblical and Qur’anic concepts were shared and compared and questions answered about Christian beliefs. Clearly, some Somali were searching for answers and understanding.

Dakdok.20191107_213019

Perhaps the most telling moment of the event occurred at the end, long after the media left and had formed its foregone conclusion—that Dakdok is an anti-Muslim hate monger. However, to his credit, after his passionate presentation, Dakdok opened the time for attendees to ask questions. Many Somali took the opportunity to express their concerns, quote the Qur’an and provide opposing positions to Dakdok. The dialogue that occurred, while not necessarily supporting Somali Islamic beliefs, was cordial and respectful.

The dialogue was apparently so intriguing, that after the meeting room cleared out, about a dozen Somali, Pastor Dakdok, and a few THEE Book Club supporters stayed and continued to have an enthusiastic and friendly discussion about Islamic and Christian beliefs. This after-event gathering continued for over an hour. It was a time of true interfaith dialogue where both Christian and Islam adherents came together to share their perspectives and understandings about their strong beliefs. Verses from both the Qur’an and Bible were freely shared. Somali felt free to express their beliefs, while Christians were free to share their testimonies and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Jesus of the Bible IS NOT the Jesus of the Qur’an

November 5, 2019

For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

2 John 1:7

I Love Jesus Because I’m Muslim! That is the new assailant message of Islam in Europe and America and it is being widely embraced by the interfaith crowd. Let me be clear on two things: First, Muslims do not love the real Jesus of the Bible and, second, the Jesus of the Qur’an is not the Jesus of the Bible or the Son of God that Christ followers adore and worship.

According to the November 1, 2019 online issue of the Nashville Tennessean (https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/religion/2019/11/01/islamic-center-of-tennessee-is-bringing-a-traveling-exhibit-on-jesus-to-nashville/3998069002/), Islamists throughout America have shifted into high gear with the overt aid of the dhimmi (those living under Islamic rule) interfaith groups in full blown assault against anyone, including devout followers of Christ, who dare to try and speak the truth about Islam.

Note, in the banner to the left, they are also proselytizing America’s large Spanish-speaking population. In many cases, among Spanish heritage Roman Catholics, it is not a hard sell, since the Vatican asserts that Catholics and Muslims are “brothers and sisters” that share the same God and Abrahamic lineage.

Will Islam Take Over the World?

October 25, 2019

James F. Gauss, Ph.D.

(Excerpted from Understanding Islam in the Light of Christianity)

Islam will dominate the world

Every Muslim is taught that the Qur’an and other Islamic sacred texts are the unchangeable, perfect word of Allah and must be adhered to. Why should the non-Muslim world be concerned? The Islamic faith is growing by leaps and bounds. Not so much because new converts are convinced of its redeeming theology, but because Muslim populations have some of the highest birthrates in the world. In highly populated Muslim countries and throughout Islamic history, “converts” are often won over through coercion, oppression and threats to one’s wellbeing.

Perhaps the naiveté of the Western world can be summed up in the assessment of Islam’s future dominance by Pavel Kohout of the Center for Economics and Politics in Prague. In an article titled, Why al-Qaeda Will Dominate the European Union, published October 7, 2004. Kohout wrote:

The first reason extreme Islam will prevail is the intellectual advantage that al-Qaeda leaders have over western European politicians. The latter want to believe that there is no clash of civilizations; that terrorism is just a product of misery and lack of education; that the solution lies in a multicultural, tolerant society; and that the stubbornness of the Americans and Israelis is to blame for all the problems.

. . . The second reason is the unification of foreign policy in the EU [European Union]. In the UN [United Nations], all member states of the European Union dutifully voted against Israel as a flock of sheep under the leadership of France. France is home to millions of Muslims, who are a decisive factor in its politics.

. . . The third reason is an advantage of the Islamic society in terms of evolution: a high birthrate.

The late but prominent educator and author, Dr. Samuel L. Blumenfeld, wrote in 2006 that, “In 20 to 50 years Western Europe may be dominated by Muslims who will claim it as a Waqf”—a territory for Islamic purposes or Muslim religious endowment (WorldNetDaily, February 14, 2006). In view of the Islamic immigrant invasion of Europe starting in 2015, Dr. Blumenfeld’s projection could arrive sooner than thought.

Many European Union countries are already under heavy political, social and economic assault from the invasion of mostly Muslim refugees from war-torn regions of the Middle East, as well as from regions of South Asia. In addition to the societal upheaval, this has resulted in a rapidly growing migrant population requiring much governmental support. Many of the Muslims, as demonstrated almost daily by their acts of terror, physical assaults and property damage, do not have peaceful intentions. If Islam becomes the dominating force in Western Europe, will Canada and the United States be far behind?

One of the most challenging situations for the European Union members, and the majority of the countries of the West, is the declining birth rates of their native populations. While the birthrate among the majority of Western societies has plummeted over the last few decades, the birthrate among many Muslim countries remains 2-3 times that of the United States, Canada and all European Union countries.

In 2016, according to Eurostat Statistics (https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/ Fertility_statistics), while Muslims are rapidly populating Europe, all 28 European Union member states have birth rates below the 2.1 live births per woman to replace their dying populations. The average fertility rate for all EU countries was 1.6 live births. Seventeen countries are at or below the EU average. Twelve EU countries are expected to have Muslim populations of five percent or more by 2030. They include: Austria (9.3% Muslim), Belgium (10.2%), Bulgaria (15.7%), Cyprus (22.7%), Denmark (5.6%), France (10.3%), Germany (7.1%), Italy (5.4%), Netherlands (7.8%), Sweden (9.9%) and the United Kingdom (8.2%). Those estimates, however, could be conservative if the current rate of Muslim migration into Europe persists.

The native populations of the EU countries are dying out, while their Muslim populations are expanding at two to three times the local inhabitants.

The 2017 estimate of birth rates in 224 countries published by the CIA World Factbook clearly illustrate the problem and what awaits the Western world. Of the 50 Muslim countries, 37 of them have replacement birth rates above 2.1 births per woman. Forty-nine of the fifty have birth rates that exceed the EU average birth rate of 1.6 live births per woman. The United States replacement birth rate in 2017 dropped to 1.87, the lowest in thirty years. Canada was even worse with a birth rate of only 1.60, the 183rd lowest in the world.

Abortions Further Exasperate the Problem. To further exacerbate the declining populations in the non-Muslim world is the high rate of abortions. From 1973 to 2013 (40 years), there have been estimated 1.72 billion babies aborted worldwide; the large majority in the non-Muslim world. Current abortion statistics are hard to come by, with the most recent in 2015, but only for a small percentage of the world’s countries. Strick, fundamentalist Muslim countries have low abortion rates (less than one per thousand live births), while more liberal or Soviet Union Republics (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) have much higher rates (10-23/1000). Since Roe vs. Wade in 1973, the United States has aborted over 61 million babies (U.S.AbortionClock.org) with a 2015 rate of 17.13/1000 births. EU countries and Canada also have high rates, ranging from around 10-25 abortions per 1000 live births.

It would appear, that while many non-Muslim countries are killing off their lifeblood, Muslims, for the most part, are re-populating the earth.

America’s Declining Birth Rate. Another ominous sign for America, is the declining birth rate. Just like in Europe, the U.S. Census Bureau reported at the end of 2018, that the birth rate for women in the United States had fallen below the replacement rate of 2.1 births per woman, to 1.7. According to the Bureau, America’s growth rate is the slowest since 1937.

“‘The aging population is starting to take its toll,’ said William Frey, a demographer at the Brookings Institution. ‘I think we need to get used to the fact that we are now a slow-growth country.’”

“If the pattern continues, immigrants will soon be more important to population gains than the so-called natural increase,” wrote New York Times’ writer, Sabrina Tavernise.

According to The World Bank (https://data.worldbank.org), America has not had a replacement birth rate (fertility rate) since 2008, when the rate fell to 2.072 births per woman. The rate has continued to plummet each year, and stood at 1.80 in 2016. Remember, the fertility rate among the majority of Muslim societies is significantly above the replacement birth rate.

Seeds of Destruction? Iranian born American, Amil Imani, warns the West that, “within the very fabric of the free world is [sic] the seeds of its own destruction. It contains provisions that make it vulnerable to its demise. And the forces of tyranny, the antithesis of those of liberty, craftily exploit those provisions to prevail.” Imani claims that the isms of Fascism, Nazism and Communism are dead, but that, “International Islam, however, is multidimensional, very alive and highly virulent. No society, no local community, no nations [sic] or region of the world is spared from its infiltration.”

Imani’s warning rings true for the United States, where Islam and its adherents have found a very fertile ground in the politically correct, cultural diversity environment. There is no country in the world that is more culturally diverse than America and, therein, could lay its downfall. As America becomes more accepting of any belief system and way of life, the more it stands for less of the founding principles set forth by its Founders and the United States Constitution. It is somewhat ironic, yet telling, that many Muslim refugees that are escaping the horrors of their homeland, are still willing to embrace the very belief system that caused their terror and reasons for fleeing.

Interfaith Dialogue with Muslims—is it Biblical?

October 16, 2019

James F. Gauss, Ph.D.

Imagine, you are asked to become a member of your church’s community outreach ministry. However, there are two concessions you must agree to: Never share your faith or the Gospel of Jesus Christ and you must acknowledge that your Christian faith is no better than another faith, such as Hinduism, Islam, et al.

Would you be interested in participating? Would you be denying your faith if you did so? Most importantly, would you be denying Jesus Christ and His salvation work in your life?

The goals of “interfaith dialogue” are really not dialogue at all, especially when it comes to interfacing with Muslims in one’s community. The goals are to be “sensitive;” to consider the other’s “feelings;” to build “friendships;” and, of course, to do “good works.” Through all this it is hoped that the love of Christ will be demonstrated with understanding and compassion. On the surface, there is nothing wrong with this. As Christ followers, we are all called to be loving and caring toward our neighbors, the stranger and even our enemies, but interfaithers, when it comes to “bridging” relationships with Muslims, often make erroneous assumptions.

First, they assume that Muslims worship and pray to the same God as Christians and Jews. This is categorically false. Allah is not the God of the Bible, but a pagan god of satanic origin. While interfaithers will strongly recoil at such a statement, the statement is factually true. Just ask any former Muslim who has turned to Jesus Christ for eternal salvation (or read my highly researched and detailed compendium, Understanding Islam in the Light of Christianity).

Second, those that seek interfaith dialogue incorrectly believe that Islam is an Abrahamic faith. This is also false. In my book there is a long detailed explanation on why Islam is not an Abrahamic faith, but for now, I will just say that while Arabic Muslims can legitimately claim to be descendants of Abraham, through Ishmael, Muslims as a group cannot. The reality, according to the Bible, is that Arabs descended from Ishmael 2700 years before the birth of Islam. In addition, an estimated 80 percent of Muslims in the world are non-Arabs. In Genesis 22, God denies that Ishmael is Abraham’s son, referring to Isaac as Abraham’s “only son” three times.

Third, interfaith dialoguers maintain that Islamic teaching offers similar views on family, loving one’s neighbor, etc. That is also misleading and largely false, especially when it comes to love of neighbor. Islamic teaching is clear and firm and commands Muslims not to take Christians and Jews as “friends.” The only acceptable way for a Muslim to befriend an unbeliever is to deceive the one befriended in order to achieve a higher, likely nefarious purpose. This is difficult for those in the West and especially in America where older generations have been taught that a man’s word is his bond. We like to believe that everyone says what they mean and stands by what they say as a badge of honor. It is not so with most Muslims, nor in Islamic teaching—and, yes, I know it is becoming sadly too true among Americans, many of whom “truth” no longer holds the weight of honor.

Fourth, the interfaithers refer to Muslims as “brothers and sisters,” which is also erroneous. The designation of “brothers and sisters” according to Christian teaching is reserved for Christ followers and not for an association of a Christian with a non-believer. There is no spiritual relationship between Christians and Muslims or between Christians and non-believers. On the other side, Muslims do not believe that a Muslim can enter into any meaningful relationship with a non-believer or infidel. Any such friendship perceived by a Christian is both false and against true Islam tenets of faith.

Fifth, interfaithers believe that we (Christians, Jews, Muslims and everyone) are “children of God” and therefore have a lot in common.

While my emotions want to proclaim the same, the truth is that according to the Bible that is not true. The term, “children of God,” is not used until the New Testament. In the Old Testament, the Israelites were most often referred to as the “children of Israel.”

The Apostles John and Paul were the ones to use the term in the New Testament. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” (John 1:12).

Later, John wrote, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:1-2). According to John, only those who call upon Jesus as Lord and Savior are the children of God. Although that may seem harsh, if we truly believe in the unadulterated Word of God, then we must accept this as true. A few verses later, John wrote, “In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother” (1 John 3:10). Again, Muslims do not worship the God of the Bible, nor the same God as Christians and Jews. While they are a part of God’s creation, as we all are, they are not “children of God” (that is, the One True God, whom they neither recognize, nor serve).

The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the church in Rome, had this to say: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together” (Romans 8:16-17). Only those who are heirs to God’s promised covenant through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the shed blood of Christ are the legitimate “children of God.”

“That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed” (Romans 9:8). Not my words or proclamation, but the Spirit of God through the Apostles John and Paul.

Despite those among the interfaith who want to see Muslims as children of God, Muslims, themselves do not believe they are children of God because Islam teaches that Allah has no children, nor does he want any. Allah does not want such a personal, loving relationship. That is what Muslims fleeing Islam love about the Christian God—the true God.

Again, there is nothing wrong with reaching out with the love of Christ to those in need or to non-believers. That is part of Christ’s teaching and the calling of every Christian, but it is not the Great Commission for the Disciples of Christ.

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen” (Matthew 28:18-20). Although Jesus is concerned about the physical and emotional wellbeing of people, His greatest concern and calling for His followers is to call people to the Kingdom of God and everlasting salvation through His death and resurrection. Interfaith dialogue does not accomplish that, nor is it the goal.

As an example of the goals of Interfaith Dialogue, one should consider the bylaws or mission statement of your local group. In one community, the goals, in part, were stated as such: “Dialogue should enhance our sensitivity to the feelings of all professing religious people in their relationship with God.” Two misconceptions here: First, Christians are not called to be sensitive “to the feelings” of others when sharing the truth of the Gospel. Yes, we can be understanding and compassionate, but we are not to hold back on sharing the Gospel for fear of offending someone’s sensibilities. If that were the case, the Gospel would never reach anyone. Second, the erroneous assumption that all faiths have a “relationship with God.” Muslims, as well as many other faiths, do not believe in or have a relationship with Jehovah God. If you approach a Muslim on that foundation you are committing heresy, leading an unbeliever astray and will fail.

In order to participate in the aforementioned interfaith group you must agree to two things:

1. You may not “proselytize any other participant.” In other words, you may not share your faith in Christ or what He means to you. Essentially, you must deny your faith and calling as a Christian.

2. “. . . no group possesses total and absolute knowledge regarding the nature and works of God and human involvement with the Divine.” Really! Did not Jesus Himself say: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). If one does not believe that, then one is not a Christian. As Christians we must undeniably believe the Bible is God’s final uncompromising and infallible Word to His creation—not the Qur’an or any other man contrived text.

End Note. Fellow Americans, brothers and sisters in Christ, we are in a battle for the very survival of constitutional America and the Church in America. The future of us, our children, grandchildren and all that come after is at stake. This is not a war against Muslims, but against the evil, oppressive ideology that holds them in bondage. Everyone needs to know the truth to turn the tide of Islamic indoctrination. I am trying to do my part but could use your help. I am trying to raise funds to print and distribute the truth about Islam and get it to politicians, educators, community leaders, church and seminary leaders and Muslims as well. If you can help, visit our campaign site here, for more details. Your prayers are also appreciated and please spread the word. Thank you and God bless you.

Islam has also fully invaded many Christian colleges, universities and seminaries with school religious departments hiring Muslims to teach vulnerable and gullible students the validity of Islam as a world belief system. Or, they have Christian professors teaching courses on Islam and its validity and similarity to Christianity.

A case in point (there are many that could be cited) is Robert F. Shedinger, Professor of Religion at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. In 2009, Shedinger published a book with the provocative title, Was Jesus a Muslim?: Questioning Categories in the Study of Religion. I confess that I have not read his book, but I watched a YouTube interview he gave on his book. In the interview Shedinger said he was challenged by a Muslim student on his understanding of Islam. After much research, he answered his own question (the title of the book) and concluded that, indeed, “Yes, even as a Christian, I have to say yes to that.” He further concluded, Islam is not a religion but a “social justice movement and that was what Jesus was all about.” So, according to Shedinger, Jesus was a Muslim in the sense of being a social justice warrior just like Muhammad. For Shedinger, Jesus was all about social justice, not about preaching a Gospel of repentance and salvation, something that Muhammad knew nothing about and, in fact, preached the dead opposite. No wonder Lutherans are all in on interfaith dialogue with Muslims. Shedinger’s whole purpose is to find ways for Muslims and Christians to ignore their theological differences and unite on purely social justice issues—issues which Muslims and Bible-believing Christians are diametrically opposed.

In 2015, Professor Shedinger followed up this effort with another offensive title, Jesus and Jihad: Reclaiming the Prophetic Heart of Christianity and Islam. No, I have not read this book either, but here is what the promotion for it says, in part, on Amazon:

When rescued from his Christian pietistic misinterpretations, Jesus emerges as a highly prophetic figure of resistance to the injustices authorized by Roman imperial power. As Muslims reengage an authentic understanding of jihad, and Christians, through a renewed understanding of jihad, meet the prophetic Jesus from whom they have become estranged, a new era of Christian-Muslim cooperation in the struggle against injustice can become the norm, replacing the current antipathy dividing these communities with a passion to reclaim once again a prophetic heart in service to a hurting world. “”Shedinger is at it again, making high-order conceptual mischief for the sake of interreligious wisdom. In this gem of a book, he brilliantly argues that Jesus was a jihadi. Shedinger makes this provocative claim because he wants Christians to learn that ‘jihad’ is spiritual and social struggle against every form of injustice. Shedinger shows that Christians desperately need this Muslim wisdom in order to be truly Christian. A must-read!”” –John J. Thatamanil, Associate Professor of Theology and World Religions, Union Theological Seminary.

Notably, this book has received one 5-star rating—from a Muslim.

So, not only was Jesus a social justice warrior, but he was a jihadi in the image of Muhammad. Good grief! Such heresy! No wonder university students are confused and being turned into social justice druggies with no concept or understanding of true Christianity or true Islam. One must read Understanding Islam in the Light of Christianity to get the accurate and Biblical view of Christianity and Islam; Jesus and Muhammad and Islam’s true view and understanding of jihad.

Across the United States Islamic research institutes, funded by the royal family of Saudi Arabia have crept into such prestigious American institutions of higher learning as American University in Washington, D.C., Duke University, Howard University, John Hopkins University, Georgetown University, Syracuse University and many other institutions of higher learning. To demonstrate their infinite capacity for compassion toward the U.S. after the September 11, 2001 attacks, the Saudis shortly thereafter pledged one billion U.S. dollars—not for the victims of the attacks, but—to evangelize American college campuses and prisons in order to gain more terrorist converts to their radical brand of Wahhabi Islam. Establishment of such institutes and mosques is much more wide spread across Europe where Islam is rapidly gaining a solid foothold.

The degree and ease with which Islam has crept into America’s primary and secondary school systems in the early 21st century is scary and mind-blowing. It has been facilitated by ignorant and clueless staff, administrators, school boards, boards of trustees and mostly ignored by parents and communities. The rapid surge has been largely funded and implemented by the Arab kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, which possess two of the most radical forms of Islam.

In the past few years, as reported by Foreign Schools Gift and Contracts Report (https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/about/data-center/school/foreign-gifts), from January 1, 2012 to June 30, 2018 a large number of American universities received hundreds of millions in donations and “contract” monies from Muslim countries—mostly Arab countries and mainly Saudi Arabia and Qatar. While the largest portion of the monies received is designated as “contracts,” presumably for tuition and fees for foreign Muslim students, there was also millions designated as “gifts” and research.

For instance, the University of Arkansas, in a four year period, from June 30, 2013 to June 30, 2017, took in $49.648 million from just three Muslim countries, Iraq, Kurdistan and Saudi Arabia. Over $40 million came from the Republic of Iraq, Higher Committee. Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore, Maryland, from January 30, 2012 to June 1, 2018, received almost $64 million from over 20 Muslim countries—all of it designated as “monetary gifts.” George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia received $64.875 million noted as “contracts” from January 23, 2012 to July 31, 2017. The great majority came from the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia.

The Associated Press, in analyzing the data, determined that at least $354 million went to 37 American institutions of higher learning from the Saudi Arabia alone—government or its controlled institutions—since 2011. Most of the money was for Saudi students attending various schools. Another $114 million was not accounted for as a result of some schools not disclosing the specific source of Saudi Arabian funding. This included $40 million to Johns Hopkins University and $28 million to Harvard University.

As reported in The Daily Caller on October 31, 2018, during the period of 2011-2016, Georgetown University (a Jesuit school) received almost $400 million from 18 foreign countries. However, 86.3 percent or $344-plus million came from five Muslim countries, of which Qatar was the largest contributor with $332.8 million.

In another attempt to control the campus narrative on Islam, the Muslim Students Association of the United States and Canada (MSA) or MSA National was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1963 on the campus of the University of Illinois. The MSA is essentially a sect of the radical Wahhabi brand of Islam of Saudi Arabia and is heavily supported by the Saudis. As of 2018 there were an estimated 600 U.S. campus chapters of MSA.

In the opinion of Alex Alexiev, of the Center for Security Policy, “The Saudis over the years set up a number of large front organizations, such as the Al Haramain Foundation, the Muslim World League, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth, and a great number of Islamic ‘charities.’

“MSA National was the precursor of ISNA [the Islamic Society of North America], ICNA [the Islamic Circle of North America], MAYA [the Muslim Arab Youth Association], IMA [the Islamic Medical Association of North America], AMSS [the Association of Muslim Social Scientists], AMSE [the Association of Muslim Scientists and Engineers], MYNA [Muslim Youth of North America], Islamic Book Service, and the North American Islamic Trust.”

“The majority of Muslim Student Associations at U.S. colleges are dominated by Islamist and anti-American agendas, as are most of the numerous Islamic centers and schools financed by the Saudis. Intolerance and outright rejection of American values and democratic ideals are often taught also in the growing number of Deobandi schools that are frequently subsidized by the Saudis.”

Islamophobia—for University Credit. In a publication called, Higher Education Today, one of the two authors who was a “higher education administrator,” shared a distasteful experience she had with the parent of a prospective student. She classified it as an “Islamophobic” incident. She and her co-author went on to write:

Muslim Americans and international Muslim students on campuses around the country experience blatant Islamophobia and microaggressions in many forms. Research shows microaggressions include stares in public, feelings of alienation and assumptions of religious homogeneity. Unfortunately, such experiences are often a reflection of the negative attitudes toward Muslims held by a significant portion of society.

No doubt her experience was distasteful, inappropriate and hurtful, but in no way did it represent “a significant portion of society.” Accusations of Islamophobia has become the new catch phrase for everything distasteful or assumed to be negative about Muslims. It has become what anti-Semitism has been for the Jews. There are, indeed, way too many people, who are small-minded and hateful, that take out their frustrations on others they perceive to be offended by, but that is the exception in America, not the rule. America and Americans are still among the most accepting, generous and compassionate people, often going the second and third mile to be kind or help someone in need.

In going to, what would appear to be the extreme on the issue of Islamophobia, prestigious Georgetown University has established a whole curriculum around the subject. It is, of course, supported with a generous donation of $20 million from the Saudi royal family to the school’s Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (CMCU), houses the “Bridge Initiative” and the “research project” on “the problem of Islamophobia.”

It is surprising, that among higher academics, no one seems to have discovered that Islam is not a race. Islam is an ideology made up of people from many ethnic and racial backgrounds. Some of the “key terms” listed in the Syllabus that are presumably catch words or offensive, include: Anti-Muslim Racism, Capitalism, Colonialism, Countering Violent Extremism, Empire, Gender Violence, Gender, Homonationalism, Islamophobia, Patriot Act and a host of other words or phrases. The Syllabus is too lengthy to review here, but the reader is encouraged to visit the website linked to this reference.

I will close with this absurdity. Todd Starnes, of Fox News, reported in March, 2018, that to sneeze in the library of Simmons College in Boston, and someone says, “God bless you” it could be considered an “Islamophobic microaggression.”

In 2017, a sophomore student, Marshall Polston, at Rollins College in Florida was suspended because he challenged his Muslim professor who asserted that the crucifixion of Jesus never happened.

“Our university should be a place where free-speech flashes and ideas can be spoken of without punishment or fear of retribution,” Polston stated.

The Muslim professor claimed that she felt threatened by Polston’s comments, and without due process, he was disciplined by the school.
