Deceived or Deceiver?

September 12, 2014

Now let’s make two things clear: ISIL is not Islamic and No religion condones the killing of innocents . . .

President Barack Hussein Obama

September 10, 2014 address to the nation

Now, let’s make one thing perfectly clear, Mr. President, you are absolutely and unequivocally wrong on both accounts.  ISIL or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (referring to the area of the Egyptian Sinai, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel and a section of Turkey) or ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is purely Islamic, following the dictates of the Muslim holy book, the Qur’an.  You, Mr. President prefer to use ISIL, thus giving the terrorists greater recognition of their goals and accomplishments.  Whether you or other talking heads and spinmeisters want to admit it or not, ISIL and other Muslim terrorist groups are the true Muslims following the word of their god, Allah and his historic mouthpiece, Muhammad, to the letter.  All other Muslims are nothing more than apostates in their eyes and worthy of only one thing: Death.

You can only be one of two things, Mr. President.  You are either deceived in your beliefs about Islamic terrorists and the religion of Islam or you are among the Islamic deceivers.  If the former you are in “good” company, President George W. Bush proclaimed Islam to be a “religion of peace”.  He was either greatly deceived or was just mimicking the lying pontifications of Muslim Imams and scholars worldwide.  However, the majority of the members of the U.S. Congress and some leaders of the Christian faith in the West have also been systematically deceived and hold the false notion that somehow this ignoble religion of “peace” has been “high-jacked” by a bunch of crazy radicals.  Let me say this as succinct as I can:  Islam IS NOT; never has been and never will be a religion of peace.  That may be “politically incorrect” and ire a lot of people, particularly the Muslim faithful, but it is the unabashed truth.

If you are among the latter, that is a deceiver on the truth about Islam, then you are merely numbered among the thousands of Imams and other Muslim con artists who have been deceiving non-Muslims for centuries about the true nature and goals of Islam.  Perhaps your Muslim heritage and upbringing have blinded you to the reality and true history of Islam.

As far as your statement that “no religion condones the killing of innocents,” all I can say is, “Please, Mr. President, some of us are not deaf, blind and dumb.  We have eyes that see; ears that hear and minds that reason and understand what we see and hear.”  The fact is, Islam is the ONLY major religion that not only condones the blatant murder of innocents (men, women and children), but it is a religion that advocates it and demands it if one is to be a true Muslim.

Perhaps I should share with you some excerpts from my highly endorsed book, Islam & Christianity, A Revealing Contrast, to enlighten you and others on the true nature of Islam.  For starters, you might remember the notorious Omar Abdel Rahman, known as the “blind sheikh” in the U.S.  Before he tried to blow up the World Trade Center in New York in 1993, he was a revered teacher of “Quranic Interpretation” at Egypt’s prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo.

. . . in 1980, the blind sheikh, Omar Abdel Rahman, was lecturing 500 students on “Quranic Interpretation.” In opposition to teachings on peace, love and forgiveness, the sheikh told the students that, “there is a whole surah [chapter 8] called the ‘Spoils of War.’ There is no surah called ‘Peace.’ Jihad and killing are the head of Islam. If you take them out, you cut off the head of Islam(p. 93).

Unfortunately, he is right in his assessment of the Qur’an’s mostly silence on the subject of peace. While the Bible has much to say about and teach about peace at all levels of human existence, the Qur’an offers little guidance to the wayward, sinful man (p. 93).

How would you compare the Bible and the Qur’an, Mr. President, on the subject of peace?

Jesus taught his followers to demonstrate peace to the world; even toward ones’ enemies. “Blessed are the peacemakers,” He preached in the Sermon on the Mount, “for they will be called sons of God (Matthew 5:9).” By comparison, Muhammad taught his followers to carry out a “holy war” or jihad against anyone who refused to accept Islam or have faith in Allah. According to the Qur’an, adherents to Islam are to fight against all who stand in the way of the spread of Islam and to fight against anyone who refused to enter into the Islamic faith.

And fight with them [the unbelievers] until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do (Surah 8:39) (pp. 94-95).

True Muslims that follow the Qur’an and the teachings of Muhammad neither desire peace nor understand the concept of peace.

Muhammad’s revealed message from Allah brought about extreme conflict and bloodshed between families and among neighbors, both near and far. Jesus, throughout His ministry, continually shared with His disciples and those who would hear Him, about God’s love and reconciliation and the coming of God’s Holy Spirit to dwell within those who chose to follow Him. “I have told you these things,” Jesus told His disciples shortly before His arrest, “so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world (John 16:33).” Note that Jesus did not command His followers to go forth and conquer the world for His sake. But, rather, He had already conquered the world in the spiritual realm through His coming and future sacrifice on the cross for all mankind. Allah, by contrast, revealed to Muhammad, that he and those who chose Islam were to go forth and violently subdue the world through bloody conquest (p. 95).

The concept of a god of love is alien to the Qur’an and the Muslim world.  Allah is portrayed by Muhammad and the Qur’an as a god of hate and vengeance.  He is an unforgiving god who will not tolerate disbelief in him.

The central theme of the Bible is that God is love and He loves those whom He created. Christianity can lay claim to one of the greatest and most reassuring verses of scripture of all the world religions in: “For God so loved the world,” Jesus taught His disciples, “that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:16-17, NKJV).” Imagine! God, the Almighty, the Ruler of the Universe, loved His creation so much, that ‘He decided that the greatest gift He could ever give mankind was to send into the world a human being who was without sin and embodied the complete thought and presence of God; endowed with God’s own Spirit, for the eternal and loving purpose of redeeming mankind from its sin which separated it from God and God’s love. What an earth-shaking concept that exists in no other religion but Christianity – a concept, which on the surface of man’s intellect, seems so preposterous that it could only be true. Man could never have conceived of such an act by any god. Man can only conceive that he must work his way into his god’s good graces through fulfilling laws or doing good works which will somehow make him worthy of his god’s love and acceptance.

“God loves you! . . . Yet in the Qur’an, no such statement is to be found (1).”

John 3:16-17 is such a striking contrast to the message that Muhammad brought to the world. Muhammad, according to the Qur’an was Allah’s mouthpiece to condemn the world for not believing in him in the first place. Muhammad was the messenger, procurer and consummator of Allah’s hate and wars upon the unbelieving Arabian world (as well as the rest of the world today). Muhammad did not come into the world as Allah’s messenger of love and salvation. He came forth as Allah’s apostle to persecute those who would not accept the tenets of Islamic faith as laid down by Muhammad.

A thorough search of the Qur’an will not unearth this biblical thesis of God’s unmitigated love. In fact, the Qur’anic theme is quite to the contrary. Allah, according to the Qur’an and its messenger, Muhammad, not only hates sin, but he hates the transgressor and all those who do not believe in him (pp. 158-159).

. . . “Christians & Jewish martyrs say; ‘I will die for what I believe.’ A Muslim martyr says; ‘you will die for what I believe (1).’” The underlying principle and foundation of Christianity is love: God’s love for His human creation; Jesus’ expression of God’s love by His sacrifice on the cross for all mankind and His commandment to all His followers to love everyone – fellow believers, non-believers and even enemies. Muslims, however, are taught and called by the teachings of the Qur’an and Islam’s revered prophet, Muhammad, to hate all those who oppose Islam – not only to hate, but to kill and annihilate all infidels and secure the world for Allah.

This latter religious dogma and mindset is difficult for the Western mind, and particularly those bathed in the teachings of Christ, to comprehend and absorb. However, it is this dramatic and fundamental difference that is essential for the non-Muslim world to grasp if it is to come to grips with and neutralize this rapidly expanding ideology that threatens the free world and all that it cherishes (pp. 245-246).

Mr. President, you and many others like you, have not grasped this concept and true understanding of Islam.

Or, have you?  You appear to be more familiar with the Qur’an than the Bible.  You have proclaimed that the Islamic call to prayer is the most beautiful sound.  You have submitted to Muslim leaders around the world, apologizing for the United States.  For what?  For American’s love of peace and freedom?  You have repeatedly supported Muslim Brotherhood factions in the U.S. and abroad and even placed several of these radicals in high positions in your administration.  While you seem to fervently support Muslim Brotherhood groups around the world, you turn a blind eye to the plight of persecuted Christians and Jews who are dying by the millions at the hands of Islamists.

So, Mr. President, are you among the deceived when it comes to understanding Islam (the faith that you were schooled in as a youth), or are you a deceiver of the ignorant of the true goals and objectives of the followers of Islam?
